That is a very unusual fighter - no prep and he is better. Cooper was very limited but carried a punch, always respect these guys even if you are a prime Evan. Haye is way above somebody like Cooper, which goes to my point that Haye is competitive.

Holyfield lived the life of a fighter. Haye played at being a fighter and lived the life of a celebrity. IMO both the Cruiserweight and Heavyweight versions of Holyfield beat Haye convincingly

I agree with you on most of it, but in the UK being caught makes you a pariah, basically a crook who sponsors and tv won't touch. This is aside from a ban. Wiggins is a total joke as well as that clown Cameron for knighting him.

Wiggins might be considered a total joke by some, but his bank considers him a multimillionaire and call him Sir Bradley Wiggins.
Look, my take is that modern day sports are our version of Rome’s bread and circuses. They’re a distraction. It’s not like today’s athletes are the moral equivalent of Eric Liddell. Our values are now sick and twisted. Look at how much controversy and money is spent on on the outrage of something like athletes taking substances that help them perform better compared to something like Rotherham.

I've idea how Wiggins has amassed such a fortune from winning one bicycle race, he aint Sir Andy Murray is he.

Brits have a very fair play attitude to sport, it's a national trait. We don't cheat see. Wiggins is a black mark and should give back all his sponsor loot and gongs.

Mmm...I’m not sure if you’re trolling now? Brits, along with the rest of humanity, do cheat. That’s why you guys have Bobby’s, MI6 and UKADA.
Sir Bradley will return his I’ll gotten gain along about the time the Rotherham boys give themselves up.
And it’s not helpful to down play the Tour de France as “one bicycle” race. Along with the Iditarod and LeMans it’s one of the preeminent races in western culture with a 100 year history.

Sorry dude, I don't understand most of your post. WTF has MI6 got to do with anything? And what is Bobby's? I can assure you Brits don't cheat as much as other countries, not even a fraction. It's part of what made Britain great - fair play. Maradona's hand of God being one glaring example. I know Tour De France has a big currency in France, but not here, or Le Mans. Wiggins amassed a massive fortune somehow but it's a mystery to me how he did. And he should be stripped of that knighthood. That's how us Brits do things.

I thought bobby’s are what you guys call cops- or maybe it’s the guys that guard buckingham palace?
I thought MI6 is your cia / spy / intelligence agency?
And ukada of course being your anti doping agency.
I mentioned these as a joke, implying if Brits are so honest why do you need the above? Apparently my sense of humor doesn’t work across the pond. Here in the states I’m hilarious;)
As far as Brits not cheating as much as other countries, it’s not a cultural issue it’s a human nature issue...imo.

I think any direct comparison between the two at this point is an egregious insult to Holyfield.

Brits do cheat. Michael Owen, Rooney and Gerrard used to dive all the time to win penalties but the English commentators never called them out on it. You don’t form an empire throughout the world by being honest.

You’re right sports are just a distraction from the more important things in life. At least with boxing it’s not shoved in your face every single day on the main news. Plus it has a lot of real life usefulness.

Genuinely sorry if I missed any humour but Wiggins was far from the winner of one bicycle race, there's a European championship, 8 World titles and 5 Olympic Golds on his resume. Legend of the sport.

Hayes did well as a cruiserweight, but even at that weight his chin was suspect. I don't know what happened to his health...........................he sure went down hill. Haye did not beat Valouev, all he did was run and not throw punches, as Jim Watt said that Haye could not win the fight without throwing any punches. Split decision win by Haye compliments of Don King. Against Vlad he did nothing, but try to survive..............
