    ... it wasn't an exhaustive list ;)

Point being, there just isn't the time, nor, probably, the fighters around, to push GGG over the top as the MW GOAT. People say GGG hits like a heavyweight ... well, Greb beat actual heavyweights in the ring, and not just scrubs either. Tunney, for example, is a borderline top 10 HW. Legend has it he busted up Dempsey so badly in their sparring sessions that they chased him out of camp. He fought (and beat) a guy in the ring with a broken arm, and his last few years were essentially fighting one-eyed. If GGG beat Canelo (which I believe) then Greb beat Tiger Flowers, another possible top 10 MW. His resume is ridiculous.

He’s at 17 without the WBA.
Take one off of Hopkin’s run if we’re really being so anal about it and he’s got 3 fights to tie and brake that record.

I wonder when Golovkin got elevated to the proper WBA champ status.

    Ok...I see your premise.

    Just one thing...

Danny Jacobs is bigger than jack Dempsey lolol.

And Ishiida, fwiw actually gave a good account of himself vs a fairly solid top 40HW in Fujimoto.

    As for time...
Getting a 2nd W/Tko this time lolol over Alvarez, BJS, Charlo, Boo Boo, and a more proven DChenko/Murata would get him there imo.

    Fighters have always been swerved.
    But none like 2008-2013 GGG.

And yesterday's fighters get huge props for making trilogies vs any contenders worth thier salt

Well, I disagree, but, he's without doubt this era's best MW, imo. Let's see how he ends his reign.

    ... in your opinion.

However, one could make a strong case for that lot, let's be fair.

I have nothing against the guy...just his competition

He dominated an extremely weak middleweight era

Most of golovkins competition were B level fighters at best, or Sergio Martinez left overs. The two best fighters he fought, golovkin failed to establish clear supremacy over either,

Since 160 had no real challengers, golovkin to prove his true greatness should have stepped up and fought one of the p4p elites like Ward did when he secured his legacy by stopping kovalev.

The good news is 160 is finally starting to develop some real good contenders (Charlotte, Saunders, etc). Let’s see if golovkin can clean up

He's already clearly the greatest mw of all time. This is a fact because I truly believe that with 100% certainties.

Dude in his mid 30's performing better than any mw current, past and present

Your opinion on this matter is so bad I find it impossible even the most ignorant of fans couldn't ever come to such a moronic conclusion

I dont know mate, there is this guy who thinks Mcgregor wouldve been a better opponent for G than Vanes was. Pretty sure his opinion on this is worse.

What the hell is going on in this thread. Nobody believes GGG hits harder than heavyweights, if GGG hits so hard why didn't he drop Canelo or KO Jacobs. Stop it already. Im not even gonna dignify this thread by dropping a list but just know GGG is indeed a Hall of Famer but absolutely not a legend. Dude has skills to pay the bills and i wouldn't want to bump into him in a dark alley, but he's far from the boogeyman people make him out to be
