Very good numbers, considering the fact that the fight was made 2 weeks ago and it being a mismatch.

Still, I'm never impressed with those US viewer numbers. A lot of much smaller European and Asian countries shatter those numbers on a regular basis.

Still amazes me the US considers itself the 'Home of Boxing', when viewership is so low outside of the 'mega fights'.

Not very good at all. The fight was on May 5th, huge boxing date, and it had tons of free press coverage with the test controversy..

In contrast Canelo-Kirkland did 2.3 million a week after the Mayweather-Pacquiao snoozer.

They don't seem like healthy numbers at all to me. If it were PPV buys then yeah...

Wilder done lesser numbers and he had to compete with Kovelev's show and another big UFC card.

Which makes sense .. since Wilder is American, GGG is from Kazakhstan. It would make more sense to compare Wilder's numbers in the US and GGG's from Kazakhstan.

Or is the state of boxing in the US that bad, that you have to have to compare a supposed Heavyweight megastar with a fighter who still needs a translator and has literally no connection to American culture?

America is always a sleeping giant. It’s funny that only in its decline, you got these American bashers. Your best ducks are junior college dropouts and for good reason.

It’s like basketball olympics. We don’t even send our elite. I just wanted to point this out. Don’t get it twisted.

For a last minute replacement that everybody said sucked balls and had no chance, those are VERY good figures.

Wilder doesn't have a fanbase. GGG is the bigger star in America.
