The way Danny Jacobs took away GGG`s jab is the same Ward would of under the guidance of Virgil Hunter who trained Jacob`s to take away GGG`s jab and go to the body the way Ward did vs Kov, what do you think?

Easier said than done, Ward has a lot less power than Jacobs and less speed. GGG wasn't at his best vs Jacobs, if GGG and Ward were to fight, Golovkin would not respect Wards power and just keep pushing, I can't see Ward winning unless he implements some dirty tactics

I see Ward beating GGG on points.. Defintely not counting GGG out.. But Id favor Ward to outbox GGG

GGG ain't no Kovalev. Ward getting knocked out cold within the first half of the fight.

Jacobs never took his jab away, he lost because he got jabbed all night.
Ward at smw might beat GGG, if he roughs him up!

I think Ward beats Golovkin on points had they met at 168. Ward would get a couple shots in then smother, shots, smother and repeat for 12 rounds. Golovkin would be left very frustrated, he likes Mexican style he certainly wont like Ward style, nobody does. Id mention the elbows, headbutts and lowblows but that would be like reminding people to breath.

    Based on?

We haven't even seen GG at SMW.

Andre would have to be favoured.

Ward, easily. He's not knocking Ward out at all, and he'll easily lose the decision. Might even get stopped by Andre.

Ward probably wins ugly. GGG would have some success with his jab, like Kovalev, but Ward would do enough movement and ugly tactics to disrupt GGG’s rhythm and win a decision. Ward was a smart and adaptable fighter, clever at knowing when to throw punches.

Kovalev outboxed Ward TWICE with a beautiful jab. Golovkin has a sexier jab than Kovalev. And is the better boxer.

Ward had to pass through Kovalevs blast zone of a power house spearing jab and a bazooka right hand to get inside.

He doesn't have to do that with Golovkin since he has the physical advantages he didn't have against Krusher . He can beat him from range with speed and foot work. Wards longer reach and equally great jab means he wins the battle of the jabs . The fight is an utter mismatch.

This. Golovkin is a far more complete boxer than Kovalev, and has an unlimited gas tank. Ward's hit n hold would earn him a hellacious series of uppercuts, just like Murray slurped down when he tried to stink out the joint against GGG. Golovkin's got the workrate, he's got the jab, he's got the power and the chin. Ward has the size and the spoiling tactics. I think Golovkin can take this. Ward could have had the fight at 168 but he refused it.

There's a reason Ward called out Golovkin and then ran to light heavy.
