HBO: Gennady Golovkin vs. Vanes Martirosyan & Cecilia Brækhus vs. Kali Reis RBR.

Something else I noticed about Golovkin, in the first fight, after he threw a jab, then a right hand, that was it, he had to restart his rythm. In the Vanes fight, he didn't take a break. Double jab, Right hand, then repeat immediately after, no break in between. Only late in the fight against Canelo did he throw long combos.
He messed up in the fifth round as well, after the huge right hand, he didn't follow up on it, I think that's a main thing they are fixing for the rematch. Doubt we will see anybody punches, maybe 10-15 in total, the body punches aren't gonna help him anyways.

Just called a foul a foul. That was no accident. You can tell when the opponent is down. It's amazing that people were ridiculing the HBO crew for even calling it out, but we know how this forum goes.

 

It was clear that Vanes was going down long before GGG threw that last punch. He did it before against Lemiuex too.

 

About 10 seconds into round 8 he gets staggered by a GGG jab as well

The fact GGG didn't die shows clearly that Canelo didn't put his true force into any attacks which therefore means he obviously wanted to display his superior ring generalship. A vaunted power puncher, punching an opponent in the back of the head while he is down, should have been handled accordingly. At the least, give the guy five minutes to recouperate, and deduct a point.

 

You are a clown. Video clearly showed a foul. Let that have been some Black fighter and you would have been all over it. What Eastern Euro fighters do I try and put down? Last I checked, I'm a fan of Pirog, Usyk, Lomachenko, Gassiev etc.Now I don't swallow their balls like you and some of the other forum members, but that doesn't mean I'm putting them down. And I must have really struck a nerve pointing out that Golovkin committed a foul, because damn near everybody knows I'm an equal opportunity critic. So you can take your attempt at making up reverse racism and shove it up your arse.
