A fight that ended in a MD, if that was a legitimately close fight then it says a lot about how underrated/forgotten Marcos has become. So who here has seen, or better yet scored this fight?
Clear Nelson win imo. He was in control the whole way. Vilasana made it competitive but it would have been a robbery if it was called a draw or a win for Marcos. Azumah Nelson vs. Marcos Villasana I: 117:113 Nelson Vilasana: 1,7 and 8. Nelson: 2,4,5,6,10,11 and 12. Rounds 3 and 9 even.
Just watched it recently and I agree. Didn't score it carefully but I had Nelson ahead comfortably. Lots of relatively close/narrow rounds but I don't see how you can give many of them to Villasana.
Awesome fight with some epic exchanges, but a clear win for Azumah imo. Second fight is less entertaining.
Great fight watched it on fight night year's ago in the uk .Marcos was tough but Nelson was a clear winner.
Can't remember how I scored but I felt nelson certainly won the fight Villasana had a hell of a fight with fenech
So whom was Villasana more effective against... Azumah or Fenech? Didn't Fenech break both his fists on Villasana's concrete head and chin?
