    Linares caught being a little lackadaisical in round 2. If I was Lomachenko I'd up the work rate up close.

    i like linares' whipping body shots, but already the footwork is frustrating him, he wont hit linares up top all night with his static stance. loma picks and prods takes round slightly.

    I'm low-key rooting for Linares to land something gigantic to cement his own legacy but I suspect rather strongly this is going to be the moment future boxing historians look back and say "that's when Lomachenko became a solidified ATG"

    Lomachenko is scoring with left hands after dazzling Linares with movement and jabs in multiples from outside. Linares is jumping at shadows, punching where Lomachenko had been only moments earlier - and Linares is neither slow nor untidy in his work. Boxing incredibly well, just better defense from Lomachenko. Right hand hurled over the top by Linares at mid-range falling in, spine arched to crowd over Lomachenko, but the Ukrainian just melts down and off to one side, avoiding the shot and returning with a boomerang counter right jab.
