Of course I'm talking about prime.

JMM is a very accurate puncher with great timing and excellent combinations. He's also much more intelligent, durable, and experienced than Linares who I felt gave Loma a lot of trouble.

JMMs right hand would KTFO Loma.

It would be an interesting fight with JMM landing his beautiful and powerful body head combinations on Loma until he eventually succumbs or gets nailed with a KTFO6 type punch.

It would be a great, skilful fight,. But Lomachenko is a true winner and Marquez lost lots of times, it would definitely have been a competitive good fight but there'd only be one winner - Lomachenko.

Marquez dominated a 26 year old Orlando Salido.

A 26 year old Lomachenko lost to a 36 year old Salido.

that was his 46th fight and Lomachenko's 2nd fight

Marquez lost on his debut to some guy called Javier Duran
Lost to someone called Freddie Norwood, Chris John, and even Timothy Bradley

I really don't know who would have won but damn I would have loved for Loma to be part of the Pac, Marquez, Barrera, Morales era!

You clearly aren't familiar with JMM and his history of getting shafted. I suggest you research before you argue this and make an ass out of yourself.

JMM had about 130 fights under his belt when he fought Salido.

Loma had about 400 and turned pro as a 26 year old fully developed man in his prime.

That right hand Linares landed on Loma was the same one old ass JMM landed on Pac, only JMM has a much better boxing pedigree and right hand.

What makes you think that Marquez will have that same opportunity as Linares had? That right hand that KO Pac was studied over 3 of their fights. Marquez by that time knew well enough what Pac does and practiced that right over hand. There is even a video on YouTube of Marquez doing that in sparing in preparation for their 4th fight. Loma and Pac fight nothing alike. Stop fantasizing over something we know nothing about how it will play out. Maybe he does have the opportunity Linares had and perfectly places a right hand and hits him just like he did to Pac or....maybe he doesn't have that opportunity at all.

Loma's speed and defense would be impossible for Marquez to overcome.

Marquez just has better ring IQ than Linares. Marquez is a master in many areas. Marquez actually sets traps, uses feints extremely well, has great timing, power, and punch placement. He's also never been KTFO, has incredible recovery, and his only clear and defined losses have been above at WW.

Loma is a terffic fighter but his game can be exploited as Salido did, and at times Linares was able too.

Bro, he fought Manny Pacquiao four times. Loma is not faster, nor is he more powerful than Pacquiao. Look at how Pac uses his speed.
