Hey, took him out three rounds faster than prime Lebedev (who actually lost a couple to Silgado).

Of course, it took him 37 seconds longer than Kudryashov...

 

I'll be honest, my entire positive opinion towards Silgado has always been almost entirely based on that showing versus Lebedev, which if that was an off night for the White Swan as you say does change my whole perspective and makes that a clouded reading of his relative value.

I can't find a regular-speed video anywhere. That one is a mess. ^ 15 goddamn minutes of which there's like 30 seconds of the slow-mo replay, but that's all.

 

...idk, Linares got pancaked by Salgado, DeMarco and Thompson in the span of three years and then spent the next six years on an unbeaten streak rebuilding himself into a p4p force.

Granted, of course Silgado is no Linares but then Salgado, DeMarco and Thompson are no Lebedev (or even Kudryashov)

 

...or look at Jhonny González, been KTFO rather brutally a few times spread out across several years but is someone you can never count out because of his own power & skill.

(again, not comparing Silgado with González, just illustrating a point)
