I'm not making fun of cancer I'm making fun of you and your total lack of perspective which congratulations you just further did.
Dude. He got handed a title match with Miguel Cotto that was on the level despite getting KO'd by Vargas recently. Nothing to feel sorry for. No "set up."
He was given an opportunity aka "set up" against Cotto. Everybody thought it was an easy retirement fight for Cotto but Ali had another idea. Ali came in looking fit and strong. Now he has to fight a young kid nobody has ever heard of (except for GGG having the audacity to try and fight) and he comes in looking soft and fat. Sadam set himself up ffs, he was looking like he had become too comfy as champion. When you have less talent (Truax) or glaring weaknesses (Ali chin) as a champ you can't afford to come in half hearted. Why do these underdogs lose the edge when they become champions?
Ali was a JrMW champion. Hw can't ***** and cry because he's fighting the prospect of the year for 2017. Lol
Golovkin would have knock Munguia out, so it was luck that Munguia got to fight Ali who has a glass chin, it did appear to be a set-up no doubt about it...................
No one was complaining leading up to the fight. Wtf is this ****? Of course Ali was going to look like a midget in there, Munguia is 6ft tall ffs.
The old expression is, “It takes more to stay on top than it does to reach it.” That’s why guys like Wlad, Bernard and GGG deserve more respect than they get for their long dominant runs. Yeah, their resumes aren’t great but it says something about their character, desire and professionalism to always be in shape and ready to fight year after year.
LOL He didn't get setup, he's not that good. He's a guy that was effectively gifted a Cinderella Man opportunity against Cotto and took advantage of it. He was the weakest JMW titlist and quite frankly I'm sure any of the top 10 would've had their way with him. Who specifically was he supposed to get put in against?
Yes. Almost certainly. He's not ready to win against Golovkin yet, but it's doubtful he would have gotten blown away in 2 rounds in a fight where Golov doesn't break a sweat. Vanes was always trash... it's nothing new.
