Been away on holiday so missed the fight but the comment about How Bjorg being so superior to everyone with them playing tennis and him playing something else I thought was good re Lomo.
Love to read what all those racist Lomo haters have to say about now, guess it’ll be something about Linares being weight drained lol?

That second video is incredible. You don’t get to see behind the scenes like that. I’ve always suspected that his father is the real boxing genius behind Vasyl. It’s odd seeing Vasyl get angry and frustrated, and it just goes to show their dedication to growth and perfection. It’s no wonder he is the greatest to ever do it, he does things no one else has ever done because of the multi generational commitment to boxing perfection. Athleticism combined with intellect to the greatest extent.

Anatoly Lomachenko is a graduate of a faculty of physical education of one of the Ukrainian universities (http://www.pdpu.edu.ua/en/fakulteti...t-fizichnoji-kulturi-ta-reabilitatsiji-2.html) and he also was a boxer himself. So, he has combined his theoretical knowledge with his practical boxing experience and created his own system of training.

    You so naughty...

Not to take away from their clear success but I think its more apt to say he's combined what works for them from everything that is already out there/known in the world.

good, he needs to be more well known by casuals.

I was raving about him on monday to casuals and non boxing fans... Yet everybody had not heard of him, apart from one guy who said ''oh yeah I know Lomachenko yeah''... two minutes later it was clear he had no clue who he was lol I don't know why some casuals lie and pretend to know about boxers.

Not true, there are clearly aspects to Vasyl’s game we haven’t seen before in boxing. What other boxer looks like Lomachenko and can do the things he does? No one. Vasyl was born, turned southpaw and into a boxing machine. His footwork, angles and combinations are new to boxing. With other boxers you can sometimes see glimpses, but with Vasyl those moves are purposeful with a purpose behind it then a purpose behind that. Sure everyone can write but not everyone can write Crime and Punishment. You might then say that Dostoevsky isn’t doing anything new because my nephew can write a story about cats, but they really aren’t the same thing.

Yeah I really enjoyed watching that too it was very interesting to get a peak at some behind the scenes action like that. I like to see more stuff like that and some in depth interviews with Papachenko too.

Indeed. Actually the BBC's coverage of boxing is so poor that most of the decent posters on this site are better.
