Should Lomachenko go to Baltimore and fight Tank Davis?

It seems like it's hard to get Davis in the ring. Maybe if Loma proposes a fight in Baltimore city perhaps Davis will be more inclined to take it? Loma has already fought in Maryland before in the D.C. suburbs. But what about in Baltimore city against a local fighter in Davis?

The obvious venue would be Horseshoe Casino in West Baltimore. Where did Davis grow up? Right in West Baltimore. He would have a lot of supporters there. Should Loma go to the hood and knockout local star Gervonta Davis? It would be quite an event for sure and would boost his popularity among black fans especially.

The biggest problem of course is the guys in charge of making the fights may be turned off by the violence in Baltimore. Which as many Americans know is by far the most dangerous major city in the country. It has by far the highest murder rate of any major U.S. city. Not even Detroit comes close. It could be hard to attract non local fans to watch live, especially late at night. Baltimore city is like a war zone at times.

I think the fight should be made there anyways. It would be an electric and unique atmosphere.

Its not hard to get Tank in the ring, he's always wanted the Loma fight kept on to Mayweather about it.
Now that Tank is back with AB and has distanced himself from Floyd even taking pop shots at him, Floyd has come out and said Tank's next fight will be against Loma. Thinking he's throwing him to the wolves...but Tank bodies Loma, wait and see. Motivated Tank (especially with Kenny Cunningham in Florida) is a killer. Loma easier to hit than people think and Davis isn't someone you want to take a shot from, he has silly power for his weight

I like Tank, but calling on him to KO Loma is ****ing stupid. He got a good win against Pedraza and...!? The game is about levels, fellas. Tank is good but he's got a long way to go before he is beyond that.

Didn't he himself say he'll fight Loma but only if it's PPV? So if that's the case, it ain't happening. There's other cool fights for Tank to take at his weight though so let's hope he gets them

yeah, he is faster and more accurate than linares and has more power, if he catches loma with a 1 2 like linares did, loma is going to sleep

There's nothing to suggest this at all. I hope you don't think that
because of Loma's fight vs. Linares. Linares is physically larger (much larger),
has faster hands and feet, is a better boxer and combination puncher,
and is far more experienced. And even with those advantages he was
    outboxed and stopped by Loma..............

West Baltimore is by far the sketchiest, scariest section of a town that I have ever been in. Scarier than Compton at 2:00 AM.

That's in Prince George's county, home of Kevin Durant. A Washington D.C. suburb. Pretty much a world of a difference than Baltimore. Even though P.G. county is in Maryland.

It is statistically much more dangerous to be a young male in West Baltimore than it is to be infantry in Afghanistan.

Baltimore is struggling. And they need help, BAD.

But I'm telling you the fight atmosphere in Baltimore City for a Loma Davis fight would be insane. Would be awesome.

I grew up in Southwest Baltimore. Now I live in Baltimore County. Baltimore City is the only place I know of where you see people selling drugs in broad daylight on a main avenue like they're hot dogs. Not even joking. In West Baltimore you will see guys yelling out the codenames for certain drugs at 2 p.m.

I wasn't interested in any of that stuff though. It was pretty easy for me to avoid that lifestyle.
