Both clowns but will Davies do better than Small did?
I think Small had more talent.

O'Hara Davies all day. I must be one of a few on here that rate him, even when he was fighting as an amateur i thought there was something about him.
He got schooled by Taylor no doubt but he will learn from it.
Im happy Frank signed him and gave him a second chance after all the heat that he caused with what he said.

    Small for me.

He had natural ability but he was a car crash waiting to happen.

I remember watching him fight Sam Webb in the ABA South London finals at Crystal Palace and he got absolutely robbed however his reaction - he was in tears - made me think that he loved the sport so much that he'd make a success of it.

It's such a shame what happened.

Mate I rate him. I like his style, except for the boring UD over that Italian bloke. His destruction of an albeit shot Derry was fantastic. I like his reach and his tight guard. He let us down by quitting against Taylor but let's see what he has to offer yet. He got thrown under the bus by the Sims twats and Eddie Hearn.

    Completely different fighters stylewise.

I rate Small higher. Ohara seems to have some power but his limitations were exposed vs Taylor.

Yeah that fight with Scarpa was boring but he was akward as hell to fight but the looks of it. Eddie Hearn is a snake for dropping him like that, all the more respect to Frank for signing him.
Disappointing fight against Taylor but he will learn from it for sure...and to be fair Taylor is a beast!
Looking foward to following his career with Frank.

Ohara's level is gonna be European level I reckon, He probably beats the guys at british level, but he'll get the Lejaragga > Bradley Skeete treatment when he goes up a level

A good comparison. I predict both will have had their careers ended because of their mouth.

Small. Talented kid. Davies is not talented, but a grafter.

I can't believe that there is a thread on here asking people's opinion on the scumbag that is small, people who know know what a complete and total oxygen wasting batsard he is.

Quit once he will quit again. He was second best against Taylor but the finish still sticks a bit of someone looking to be rescued. Euro level probably the type of guy who will spark domestic level opposition but come up short against the best...

Always thought small wasted his talent but was he genuinely good or just really unorthodox and would have got found out at somepoint - probably a similar case to O'hard

He is, but his boxing career still happened regardless of how it all turned out.
