Dave Allen is one of the worst British heavyweight boxers of all time. The matchroom PR Machine, his chin and his popularity/ticket selling ability have disguised this well. He’s simply a human punch bag. He wouldn’t beat even beat Sexton or Cornish. They should try him for an area title.
He may not beat Sexton or Cornish, but that wasn't the question. Browne was so poor last time out I suspect Freddie Flintoff would have got past him.
The only hope Allen would have of winning is that his chin (which is very good) holds out that long, Browne then gassed out because he’s that out of shape and then Allen KO’s him. It’s a dreadful thought anyway. I don’t want to see it.

Browne annoyed me against whyte. It was very evident that he hadn't had a proper camp. He was far from in shape and did himself zero justice.
