If we see Tyson Fury ever fight anyone with substance, without Peter Fury in his corner, I'll be certainly disappointed and maybe a little surprised.

He's not stupid and he knows Peter's gameplan's and training methods and his developed ability to carry them out are/were actually one of, if not his biggest strength.

I'm fine with Sefer Seferi's until then

Yep this. First fight back he gets a pass as it's about easing him back in, getting rid of some ring rust, building confidence and just seeing were Fury is in regards to his performance. Then based off of that first fight they'll decide what level his next opponent is, as currently we have no idea what Fury has left.

Peter wants to focus on his son, Hughie. Tyson can't do anything about that.

Reasonable first up opponent under the circumstances. Durable, but has only been beyond 6 rounds once. No point Fury having taking a one round pushover fight when he needs rounds under the lights.

Fury said he was ready for AJ straight for his comeback fight. No tune ups needed, it would be easy. Yet he picks Seferi.

    Fight talk.

How sensible would it be for Fury to fight Joshua straight up?

Hopefully Tyson fights like a maniac like he did against Abell, and actually entertain the fans, I think he can take the risk here.

This is about the level I hoped for and expected, I have no complaints about this at all. People hating on fights being made with people they've not heard of makes me weary - this guy isn't a household name, but isn't a bum (nor or his a world beater)... but man, the saying "You don't play boxing" rings very true here. Fury has been out for a long time, has gone through all kinds of crap - there is no shame in this as a tune up fight. This guy could arguably still qualify as one of Wilders 10 toughest opponents if Wilder faced him.

I'm looking forward to seeing Fury in the ring again, and hope he looks as good as he should.

Course it’s ok but don’t be surprised he fights four duffers in a row as according to Hearn that’s the deal he was offering, four duffers and then AJ lol

It’ll be interesting to see what he’s like,so many eyes on him seeing if he’s the same.
I doubted he’d ever get back given his weight but it does look like he knew he could lose it when he needed to as he always ballooned up anyway.

Yeah absolutely, obviously a fight with a name would of been better for us but this is his career comeback so he ain’t gonna wanna mess it up,I expect a few of these to get back into things though the danger is as Haye found out that if you don’t get any rounds off em it can be counterproductive.

:risas3: wow I new he would take soft touch first fight back but this is really sad for a former champ... euro level fighter would of been better come on.
