Me too and given that I don’t want another two years of Adonis I wanted Jack to win but it was an easy decision to arrive the draw
You scored it 115-113 and think Badou “got jobbed”. Surely you understand it was a close fight, just like how you scored it. Very hard to say someone got jobbed when it’s a 7 rds to 5 rds or 6-6 type of fight.
Actually, I disagree! Offense (against top and skilled opponents) is more difficult than MERELY defending. Setting up and executing perfectly timed and accurate punches is far more difficult in boxing than mere defense from my experience. And defense whilst attacking is far more difficult and more important in boxing than merely defending without attacking. Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit. It's not about not hitting and not getting hit simultaneously. Which is called 'running'. Offense is far more important in boxing than defense. It's possible to win a boxing bout with 0 defense and with pure offense. Whilst it's pretty much impossible to win a boxing bout with 0 offense and just purely with defense.

I hate the whole "it's a robbery I tell you!! I actually scored it for Jack and HERE'S WHY!!!" Scoring it round by round knowing every round is 10 point must coming to a Jack decision isn't really that easy.. he lost the first half of the fight WIDE. hell you could have had it a SHUTOUT for stevenson even. jack was down let's say 5 rounds all stevenson needed was ONE round to leave with his belt. round 10 was close maybe jack slightly up and Stevenson hurt him and finished stronger, you had to give that round to Stevenson. boom. I can't think of a legit way you could give stevenson the fight. baring 10-8 rounds for jack that he didnt deserve.
You say 115-113 was the correct score, can you really be mad that the other two judges got 114-114, there's literally just a round in it.. I had Jack winning but it was a close fight. Can't complain with the draw.
Nonsense. Like I said, Jack was protecting his fragile mandible and so he gave away rounds, losing pretty clearly from what I could see. He saved himself from getting starched again, perhaps, but that's about it.
I had the fight a draw. Never been this decisive about a draw scoring possibly ever. Stevenson won the early rounds and the second half 90% dominated by Badou till that body shot landed in the 10th. I'm not impressed at all with Jack to be honest. He had an old, out of shape Stevenson ready for the taking since round 7 and never really capitalized. Stevenson was dead tired at some point and Jack barely did anything. Looking forward to the rematch and I truly expect Stevenson to come in far better shape this time.
For this fight maybe you should also lay some blame at jack’s feet for giving away so many of the early rounds cause he was scared to engage with Stevenson while he was fresh.
I scored it for Jack though I can't in any way call it a robbery. Stevenson was there for the taking and he just didn't force it. Given the DeGale result though I get why he may be a little salty about it
No he did not. The fix happened in round ten, when the judges gave the round to Ward. It was a clear Kovlev round.
I agree and will add that Jack need to perform starting in the 4th on like he did in 7-to the 12th round Now he has limited chance in a rematch as it will look like Floyd Chino II but end with a deadly early KO from the Pimp
