I recently watched Clifford Etienne vs Lawrence Clay Bey, a underrated heavyweight war.

What other underrated heavyweight wars stick out to you, which don't seem to get the recognition they deserve?

Coetzer vs Du Plooy was a great little 2 round fight. Du Plooy was so done after those knockdowns, he looked like his spirit had left him.

    Brewster-Krasniqi
    Harris-Jefferson
    Golota-Pouha
    Amir Mansour has a few
    Breazeale-Izu

Edit: technically it was at 175, Gonzales-Leterlough was the same as watching a sloppy heavyweight brawl.

Alex Stewart - Ezra Sellers = 3 rounds, Sellers dropped 4 times, Stewart 3 times

Derrick Jefferson - Maurice Harris - great fight!

Lance Whitaker - Lou Saverese - good scrap, Steve Smoger gave long count when Lou was battered and dropped. Lou won in 10 rounds

David Izon - Derrick Jefferson - 'came from behind' win for Izon
David Izon - Darroll Wilson - Izon was almost KTFO'd in round 1, knocked down and on the verge of getting stopped, came back and won in 4
David Izon - Terrence Lewis - Izon was badly hurt and then dropped, stops Lewis in 5

    Sergey Lyakhovich vs Friday Ahunanya

Carl Williams - Jesse Ferguson - Williams gets dropped hard twice, comes back and KOs Ferguson
Buster Douglas - Jesse Ferguson - round 1 was great. Douglas hurt early, almost KTFOs Ferguson with an uppercut at the end of round 1.

    Darroll Wilson - Courage Chabalala
    Oleg Maskaev - Courage Chabalala

Bert Cooper vs Lauren Ross - great KO, Cooper at his best
Bert Cooper vs Henry Tillman (CW)- one of the great obscure fights, very entertaining, worth watching!

Chris Byrd - Jimmy Thunder (one of the rare fights, where Byrd knocks down and later stops his opponent)

    Tyrell Biggs - David Bey

Jeremy Williams - Marion Wilson - Williams comes very agressive, Wilson takes all punches and then drops Wiliams, but eventually loses by decision

    Jeremy Williams - Everton Davis
    Kirk Johnson - Everton Davis

    Breazeale - Ugonoh
    Breazeale - Mansour

Tim Witherspoon - Mark Wills 1

Two 12 rounders I enjoyed immensely was Patterson v Chuvalo and Tua v Ike. However, they were probably too high profile for this subject matter when looking for the more obscure. The first one I thought of in that vein was the bout between Mo Harris and Derrick Jefferson, which has already been mentioned. I also thought when everyon was mentioning Ezra Sellers, about his fight with Carl Thompson and the knockdown dragout affair that it was. But upon looking at it I believe Sellers had dropped down to Cruiser for that one. But to add one more I would add the bout between Shannon Briggs and Darrol 'Doin Damage' Wilson. A phenominal win for the underdog and well worth watching.
