Still the gloves was an issue at the time since Mayweather was coming off yet another hand injury and when you're forcing him to wear those gloves in a small ring, you're begging him to land some big shots and break it again. Pretty simple and clear, everyone was all over those "rules" DLH had in the contract right after Mayweather signed without even reading.

Pure bias right there man. Floyd will be remembered for the fighters he ducked?, who exactly man?!, Margarito and Cotto?, you got to have more people on that list to say he'll be remembered for the people he ducked. Margarito's accomplishments are out there to check out and if anyone would think someone that was in a division for SO long and the only accomplishment worth mentioning is "Kermit Cintron" then there's a problem. Cotto I'll agree with you, he's a good undefeated fighter who's on top of his game now and WAS called out back when he was "Green" but the fight didn't happen. To be more fair, I don't see how Cotto is calling out Floyd desperately asking for this fight, didn't Margarito do a better job?, you expect the champion to run after the challenger or the other way around?

Seriously doubt it'll be more than his fight with Mayorga.

That's not really Floyd's problem, got any bigger names Floyd should've fought apart from Cotto who only recently claimed to be "Not green" anymore and ready?
If you have a list of names then shoot, if you have only 1 then you have nothing to be honest.

Hell, a Mayorga rematch would probably sell more tbh.

That's exactly what I've been saying and exactly why this fight won't happen. DLH is looking for a fresh big-name opponent, not someone coming off a loss and wants a payday. Wright is a good fighter, slightly overrated but still very good and will beat DLH, don't get me wrong there but DLH doesn't want an easy big-name as his last either especially when he also wants the winner of Cotto/Margarito. Margarito coming off a win over Cotto would make far more money than Wright as well, Wright needs a streak of wins to attract a few, coming off a loss with his boring to death style won't attract **** and even if DLH beats him not many will give him good enough(not what DLH is looking for) credit for it.

And if Wright thinks he's looking good with this announcement after a long emotional lay-off, he's hardly looking good, if anything he looks like a clown to be honest. Why not call out the man who beat you for a rematch?, Hopkins made it clear he's open for a fight if anyone wants it, why run after DLH if he thought he beat Hopkins and got robbed even though Hopkins won fair and square. Why not try to set up a rematch with Taylor if not Hopkins?

This man has some unfinished business and he's looking for easy paydays.

    not even that.

winky has his own promo company now and he's still not getting fights.

i don't believe winky - oscar will happen simply because winky has been inactive for so long and is sucha difficult fighter to beat.

i'll bet anything that oscar takes the cotto - margarito winner. pacman as second choice.

That is very true, and I like Wright a hell of a lot more than I like Margarito.

That's what I'm betting on too, Cotto/Marg winner, don't even think that he's taking the Pacquiao choice seriously.
