He wants 40 % which translates into he's not confident he can win. The entire fight package is worth over 30 Million even if he did accept the 12.5 Million deal.. Joshua would make about double his highest , Wilder over 10. Wilder is pricing himself out by doing this. If Joshua who's done all the work accepts that which he's not going to i don't believe then the fight won't happen...next. Wilder is getting a rematch in the U.S but he's worth 20 Million now? In a fight of 40% could even get him 30 million??? Lol The guy makes under 2 Million a fight , it's actually closer to 1 million. I can't believe some of the posters on here...lol
So Wilder is pricing himself out what is Joshua doing if he rejects the biggest garuntee in boxing history? Lool come on be consistent.
I actually don't think Wilder ever means to win a fight on points, mainly because I think he knows he can't (Stiverne 1 was a blip). His fights are all about creating a bridgehead for the KO...
Joshua can make that in two fights... How is the guy who can't even generate over 2 Million dollar fights not accepting a sum of 30 plus Million if he signs Hearns deal.. Only one can duck making actual HW champion money and that's Wilder.........this isn't even remotely debatable. Sorry you haven't a clue what your talking about!
Joshua can’t make that in two fight, you have been falling for some silly propaganda. The fact of the matter is he asked for that money to sign the fight, it was offered and he declined it.
Maybe not but I see it as style thing unless Joshua goes all timid and does what he did against Parker. Wasn’t impressed at all with him against Parker
I said at the time it was a psy op and not to get sucked in by it as both teams know full well this fight ain’t happening till next year. All the public twitter stuff is just hype to sell the fight, nothing more.
The thing is that Wilder never went down from an Ortiz onslaught after taking his best shot but Joshua hit the canvass after that Klitschko shot and Wilder is a much better finisher. Now, Joshua has the better technique and they are on par in height and reach. However, Wilder is unpredictable and unorthodox which is in his favor. It's a fifty fifty fight in my opinon.
Yes it probably,I keep flip flopping between Joshua taking him out early and what you describe.. One thing we now know for sure is that Wilders no joke, all those late knockouts are not coincidence.
tbh - that looks like a realistic negotiation, back and forth and finally both parties settle for what they see as fair.
Take all the ranting and raving on social media aside and that will be pretty much the negotiation process..
Klitschko is a far superior fighter to Wilder and he hits harder, far better defense, technique, Wilder is not in Vlad's class. Vitali could still knock Wilder out at age 46! Joshua by knockout, he will set Wilder up, out boxing him and knock him out. He hits much harder than Ortiz and he is not 50 years old!
