Yeah I think both are interchangeable, I would put GGG first and Jacobs close second with Charlo maybe the dark horse

Good list but I would put Golovkin above Jacobs and argue that Matthysse at 147.

If you rate pure punching power, it should be Lemieux instead of GGG and Jacobs.

Yeah I can’t disagree with GGG over jacobs, no way is matthyse the biggest puncher at 147 lol, who has he knocked out at that weight? Spence stopped Brook. 140 he was a heavy hitter but to early to say he is the biggest puncher at 147, if he stops pac now that is a achievement

In terms of raw punching power / force (not offensive skills)

    Heavyweight: David Price

    Cruiser weight: Dmitry Kudryashov

    Light heavyweight: Artur Beterbiev

    Super middleweight: Dunno

Middleweight: David Lemieux / Gennady Golovkin (Lemieux edges it slightly)

    Light middleweight: Jermell Charlo

    Welterweight: Errol Spence Jr

    Light welterweight: Ruslan Provodnikov

I'm not sure on the lower weight divisions!

It depends though. If GGG and Jacobs put their complete body in their punch in a sloppy matter they probably could hit as hard. The scary thing about the other guys they listed as they throw punches with great technique and punches that are hard to see with great power. Lemieux literally winds up and puts everything into them. I haven't seen him really hurt guys without winding up.

Lemieux is an overrated puncher, he couldn’t get a punch bag like angulo out of there. James de la Rosa, ffs even this guy he just fought this weekend. If GGG and jacobs fought those guys, they would be laid out.

Made a couple edits. I'd say Groves probably hits harder than Uzcategui. The only boxer who has put a dent in Eubank Jr. Martin Murray said Groves hits a lot harder than Golovkin.

You think Groves could stop Dirrell? I don’t think so. Yeah he is the only guy to put a dent in Eubank because CEJ really hasn’t fought any world class operators outside of Saunders. I got Uzcategui stopping Degale it Degale doesn’t duck him.

I don’t believe Murray and I’ll tell you why, he went toe to toe with Groves and he wasn’t dropped. Against GGG, Murray ran around the ring for 11 round and was stopped.
