i wouldnt be suprised if a jab drops seferi, i have a feeling that fury will come back as he started his career, and try to bowl over overmatched opponents as fast as possible. only when he becomes more accustomed to the ring will he return to boxing after shaken off the rust. Also Tyson Fury is a big puncher, he knows big KO's will increase hype and money.

He has to get people excited again. He won't do that by scoring a tenth-round KO against a bum after cagily outboxing him for nine rounds. Like you, I expect he'll be looking to blow people away to bolster his credentials. He wants people to say "Hey, Fury is back!" rather than "Did you see that Fury fought the other night? Something Seferi I think. No, me neither". But he could really do with some rounds to get back into the swing of things if he's looking to take on the big boys next year.

Fury is NOT a big puncher.
That said, he should have no issue here.

I hear Fury was sparring with Naseem Hamed as 'similar' height to Seferi, but his services were dispensed with as he was lot heavier.

He's as easy as it gets but it makes sense after all the **** Fury's put himself through.

I agree. This is simply a warm up fight and for him to just get out there, get some rounds in, the confidence of being in the ring again. I don't think anyone involved is viewing this as an actively competitive matchup. A good payday for the opposition, Tyson gets out and comfortable again, Warren establishes boxing on BT as a thing to the public. Win win for all parties with little to no risk.

I repeat: if you Google someone and Google says "oh you must have meant his brother, since that guy is a complete nobody as far as our search engine algorithm is concerned", he isn't going to suddenly become the lineal HW champion of the world overnight. Sorry.

Fury might carry him for 5 of 6 rounds, Showing his boxing stills, then stop him.

Merely for marketing i would have thought Tysons opponent should have looked like a heavyweight in height and build, there are plenty of journeymen fighters out there who would pose limited opposition, but at least look the part.

Maybe they are going biblical and marketing it as David vs Goliath.

That's an 80 lb. weight difference, and not only that, a 13-year age difference. This is a joke.

Oh wait, that's lacking context, apparently that was posted in a different Fury vs. Seferi thread...

How the **** does this fight warrant more than one thread??? :dunno

I will expect a better name for Fury's next fight. Somebody top 30 at least. A Teper or Jennings type guy.
