My guess is that Loefler will counter-offer within the next couple of days(possibly tomorrow) with 60/40.

GGG is never going to get 50/50 but with what has gone on regarding the failed test, Canelo pulling out the fight should be at least 60/40.

GBP are being disgustingly arrogant in their approach to the whole rematch which they themselves have turned into some kind of circus.

GBP won't bat an eyelid if the fight doesn't come off......they have Jacobs (nope), Charlo (nope), BJS (nope), Lemieux (maybe) and Spike (that sounds about right) and the Mexican casuals will lap it up.

It always comes down to the "Mexican casuals", they must be the only ones buying PPV's. LOL

El Pollo does not want the rematch, esp. without his PEDS! He is complaining about having to take drug tests by VADA, does not want to........................look at El Pollo without his PEDS! Oscar will still own at least 2 of the three judges if not all three, he will own the referee, boxing commission and Bob Bennett will be his cheerleader. Oscar has already bought the most expensive fishnets, so he does not really need the money........................remember the coke song from the TV commercials? Oscar would like to buy the world a coke? LOL! Coke and fishnets, that's some promoter! Oscar is still angry because Lomachenko stopped Linares in a fight where he owned the judges, look at the damned scoring! Yeah, they were planning on cheating Lomachenko out of the decision..............

Mexican casuals are a lot smarter than you think.

Most fans are. There's a reason why some fighters despite the hype have a hard time selling fights. Fans know a farce.

in all fairness GGG has a big following that doesn't transcend into big PPV buys, somewhat the equivalent the Greatfull Dead fans. I'm guessing there was a lot of GGG fans there that night.

Yep he does sell out venues but I’m often surprised even in his own country that Canelo has his detractors, don’t speak Spanish but it seems a lot thought his un Mexican style contrary to what he said he’d do,bit unfair but there you go.

Canelo lost a lot of fans after the Floyd fight where he tried to outbox Floyd instead of using a more aggressive, i.e. Mexican style. Has also lost a lot of fans after Clenbutegate but for whatever reason he's still the talk of the town and that translates into PPV buys.

Well they obviously chose to overlook Canelo's fights against Kirkland, Smith, JCC jr and the king of the glass chins in Khan.

Mexicans as a whole are very nationalistic when it comes to a Mexican fighter, I'm not knocking it as it is great for the sport, but are you telling me that Canelo v Smith/Kirkland/Khan was all bought by avid boxing fans?

GBP/Canelo know that they can fight Spike and the "fans" will come out and pay, Golovkin doesn't have that luxury, not many fighters do.

Mexicans will continue to support Canelo...until Benavidez Ramirez or Munguia do something great. They also need a big tv network to hype them up. Not an app
