Didn’t a Romanian bum run a train on Deontays ass in the amateurs and stop him in brutal fashion.

Also carnival fat men Sconiers and Nicholls both heavily dropped him earlier in his career.

Not packing glass, but clearly not iron clad either.

Yes, I agree on Wach. He was never really hurt in the fight. As for Duhaupas, he has solid chin, but not even close to Wach's one, since Povetkin knocked him out cold in 6 rounds and couldn't even remotadly stun Wach in 12 rounds.

Wach and Parker. Wilder still has to prove it a lil more to rank with those guys, dont forget Parker stood up against AJ.

How did your two man protest go last weekend MVC?

Actually, Povetkin (along with Wladimir Klitschko) was the only boxer to have ever stunned Mariusz Wach. Povetkin landed some overhand rights that SLIGHTLY stunned Wach and backed him up.

Which is obviously a lot different than getting stunned by far weaker punchers like Eric Molina and Artur Szpilka. Whom Wilder got stunned by and looked in far worse condition against them.

I think some people underestimate just how difficult it is to KO much taller + bigger sized opponents. Even for power punchers / knockout artists. Short boxers like Povetkin will have their full punching power robbed when punching upwards against much taller opponents like Mariusz Wach. Which is why he never caught Wach with a maximum powered left hook like the one he caught Johan Duhaupas with. The left hook that he landed on Duhaupas looked like it landed with 100% accuracy, timing and power. As such, it may very well be that such a punch would've knocked out any heavyweight in the world.

Even against Price, Povetkin struggled to land his most powerful punches due to the height difference between him and Price. And nobody the size / height of Povetkin previously knocked Price out cleanly before Price became tired. Povetkin was the smallest / shortest boxer to have ever KO'ed Price without Price getting stopped from getting tired. But Price has a horrible chin, which is probably the only reason why Povetkin was able to KO him without even landing his most powerful punches.

I'm surprised to see Wilder and Duhaupa on here as both have been knocked out.

Duhaupa was knocked out viciously by Povetkin with a one punch left hook fell him on to his back if I remember correctly.

Wilder getting dropped was a long time ago. He has been wobbled/stunned and fought through it so maybe he has a decent jaw but I honestly don't believe so.

Or maybe Duhaupas still has a great chin, but it was more down to Povetkin's brilliance causing the knockout, rather than Duhaupas's chin lacking? Or maybe he was paid to take a dive?

Duhaupas never met the canvas or was dropped in any other fight by any other opponent in over 40 bouts. Not even Wilder or Miller (proven punchers) managed to even drop him.

Wach, Rudenko, Duhaupas and then maybe Parker. Wilder's chin is pretty weak, every time he's hit clean with a half decent shot he's on unsteady legs.

Punching power = functional weight (functional muscle mass) + speed.

Povetkin's weight + speed was the same against Duhaupas as it was against pretty much any other opponent.

So how else would mythical PEDs have helped Povetkin? Considering it didn't make him faster, nor did it increase his muscle mass substantially.

You'd have a point if he started randomly looking like Brock Lesnar, Ike Ibeabuch and Anthony Joshua. I mean 240+ pounds of mostly muscles. But he didn't!

By the way, he was caught with literally a picogram of a substance. Which is the size of an ant, compared to multiple Earths. Explain how that would even enhance a fly, never mind a full sized human. Better yet, find me one athlete who has ever failed a drug test for a picogram of a substance. Hint = you can't.

Ergo, I've indisputably proven that PEDs made literally no difference in that fight. Any version of Duhaupas would have suffered the same fate unfortunately. Even the version that withstood Wilder's windmills for 11 rounds.
