He sounds like a great kid from the little I've heard in interviews, genuinely humble, he doesn't sound like he's doing it to market himself a la Hatton. He's fun to watch too.

However, his fans are bordering on ******ed, and it leaves a bad taste in the mouth to the extent you wouldn't mind seeing him lose. It's no reflection on him personally or as a boxer though.

Good to hear. I agree that theres room for improvement. And I also look forward to stiffer challenges for him. If he can continue to meet & conquer those challenges, who knows just how far he can go? Not only does he have the imposing physique, great straight punching techique with leverage which translates into his power, but his mental approach may be his bigest asset.

Good Post, 2000. Listen, when your boy & KP fought last year, I was very, very concerned, to say the least. Could this be the end of the road for Kelly? It sure could have. But the way he came out & immediately back Miranda up was something to see. What an exciting fight & Edison got in alot of power shots & didn't look all that weight drained. Hell, KP had a rough time making 160, too. But the Zertuche fight & then the Miranda fight is what really set the wheels in motion for him to be where he is today.

Its been a colossal year for Kelly. Now beings his 2nd year to try & prove his dominance.

Please, forget about us PavlikNuts. We're all just very excited over what we've seen & what may come about in future fights. Remember, I just didn't hop on this bandwagon a year ago. I noticed KP 4 years ago & said this kid can go far. Its nice to see him develope into what I thought he was capable doing. So give us a break & enjoy a fighter that doesn't come around too often.

Well, at least we're talking about Pavlik instead of a clown like PBF. Don't get me wrong. Floyd has crazy skills. I just hate his demeanor outside the ring (along with his fighting style).

Don't worry. I prefer Pavlik to the cherrypicker every single day of the week.

I was gonna come back & edit my last post to include the fact that he has avoided some stiff competition, whereas KP would fight Godzilla if they told him to.

Don't overrated Kelly Pavlik's one punch power. It took him several flush shots to make dents in Miranda and Jermain Taylor.
