Said it last week. Charlo is a hype job. I'd pick someone like Kell Brook to murder him

I only saw half the fight, but there's absolutely no doubt in my mind the Trout of a few years ago would've definitely beaten him. Trout seemed gun-shy and reluctant to let his hands go after coming off the first stoppage loss of his career (which hasn't been the case against everyone else he's fought, including the bigger punching Jermallo who he arguably beat), but whenever he did let them go he had a lot of success and was hitting Jermello with ease. To be fair to Jermello, Trout is very skilled, both offensively and defensively, and is a joy to watch when he's letting his hands go. I'm more impressed with Jermallo than his bro.

"Hitting Charlo with ease" which fight were you watching? Charlo landed the bigger and better shots and blocked almost all of his jabs. Charlo doesn't fight reckless and now yall aren't impressed?

The one on Saturday night. Like I said, I only saw about half of it as I was switching back and forth between that and other fights. But in the rounds I saw, whenever Trout let his hands go he was having a lot of success catching Jermello. Trout's always been a highly skilled offensive fighter so he's going to find those openings and have success.

Jermell’s team better delete all footage of the Lubin knockout. Jermell is neglecting the rest of his attack by relying heavily on that right uppercut that he used to KO Lubin. He couldn’t land it on Trout and it might cost him dearly against a fresher, younger, top-level fighter.

I'm not sold Jermell just yet. I thought he was on his way to a clear and wide UD loss before KO Jackson.

    Not sure what you mean.

I like Austin Trout. As a matter of fact, I even asked Jarrett Hurd, at the IBHOF, to explain to a captivated audience why he assumed Charlo was going to beat Trout.

My point is that Austin “No Clout” Trout never gets the benefit of the doubt.

It wouldn't be the first time you and I disagreed on the scoring of a match. Trout's one of those guys where you either like his style or don't, I still think he beat Canelo 114-113, the only clear loss he's had in his career IMO is against Lara. Well, and Hurd. But he was schooling his ass too, up until he got tired.
