I would probably buy it. I know people moan about being conned etc but there's a market for rubbish fights like these. It would still be entertaining, both characters inin t build up, both totally deluded thinking they are the best fighters to ever walk the earth. Both a shadow of them former selves. It would be a bit of a joke matchup but still would watch it.
Like most have stated, I wouldn't want this to happen, but if it did happen I would sure as **** dust the old Haymaker t-shirt out of the closet and back my boy 100%.
I m all for comebacks if done right. Seriously tho David Haye who I m actually a big fan of...is completely finished. He has nothing to hold off any decent heavyweight now. Hes training injured and then trying to fight injured. Its not ring rust that's holding him back but injury. And not injury' that will heal either. Needs to retire and move forward with his life. Briggs would seriously give fury a better fight than haye at this point. Haye actually looked allright in the first two rounds against bellew....but it was light boxing tbh...as soon as any sort of pressure was put on him...he has nothing to give back. You can't fight at any serious level with the injuries he has/had. People had him down to kill bellew in a round. Fast forward to the second fight....penfolds in the corner telling bellew that's brilliant we,re ready to take him...just not yet...after the first round. They ended up choosing when to take him out. They wouldn't have even done that against an old haye...injuries a different ballgame tho.
Haye is done for good because of his injuries. Where as fury needs to lose weight and get rounds in. The haye that KO chisora would ko fury, but today fury will KO haye, it's not even close. Would I pay? No way. Would I watch it? yes.
