He also said that Pavlik needs to establish his undefeated record. Calzaghe is obsessed with this undefeated thing. I'm of the opinion that going out undefeated is the only thing that matters with Calzaghe.

The trash talking seems like a weak attempt to downplay the situation. But it's really a classless move.

Doesnt matter who he fights. If he fights and beats Jones then he's only beaten a "way past his best" Jones. If he fights and beats Pavlik then he's beaten a "blown up middleweight"....and if he loses to either then he's a fraud.
Either way he cant win.
