Honestly, assuming he's just talking about the division, it's not too much of an overstatement. Whyte is high profile in UK, and Parker is probably the highest profile non UK HW in UK. This could make some money.

    AJ
    Wilder
    Fury
    Povetkin
    Bellew

They're all obviously bigger names than Dillian in the division

Pulev would draw big numbers in his side of the world. Pulev is probably a bigger name tbh, that is why his backers won the purse bid.

Parker is definitely a bigger star in NZ/Aus than Dillian is in the UK. Considerably bigger, I would say so much bigger that he has obviously made bigger $$$ than Dillian could ever dream of.

Hahaha... ou utter moron. Won't crack 500k you say?!?! At least it's now official that you're just a clueless hater.

Keep on keeping on Hearn Jockey.

Also, thanks for coming back and proving me right on this. I'd forgotten this exchange happened.

Honestly I think that is not far off the target. What other big fights are out there? Povetkin vs. Wilder and Povetkin vs. AJ. What else outside of AJ vs. Wilder? I think he's right.

How am i a clueless hater?
And what am i hating on exactly? I said the promotion was weak as ****, and it was. This was a big fight yet only peaked at 633k.

And how am i a "Hearn Jockey?"

Would rather see Big Baby vs Whyte and Parker vs Ortiz.

I'm not gonna argue with a full blown moron. You said something desperately stupid. You were 100% wrong in every sense. You are then so stupid you posted the proof of your own idiocy and are now trying to argue the toss. I'm moving on.

Hope you enjoy riding Hearn's tiny todger.

I guess that's possible. If Haye/Bellew can do over 600K PPV buys then Whyte/Parker might every well do 400K.

Whyte may not be the biggest name but casuals know who he is from the Joshua fight and he clearly can sell out the O2. Parker is well known in the UK from the Fury and Joshua fight, so it could very well do well.

I assume Hearn put this on PPV knowing it likely does well on PPV and SKY wouldn't of OK'ed it had it not been viable. I guess the Browne fight did well for SKY in terms of viewing figures.

 Wtf is going on here?
I was highly skeptical of the Cruz-Mares ratings because of the shitty promotion it got. And i was only slightly off.(Which is good. I do want boxing to thrive).
The first fight, alto on ESPN, had 1.6m households tune in. This is a drastic fall for this type of an event.
No one is celebrating the 600k. Those are bad numbers.

And what does any of this have anything to do with Hearn?
Hearn has done well over there in the U.K. He has sold fights to the casuals. But that has nothing to do with PBC or me.
I only care about Hearn if he puts on good events.

Who ever made this thread needs to take the lool out because the majority of the sane boxing public are laughing at you.

No other fight planned, locked in and sealed beats this one apart from of course Joshua and the American if it goes ahead

Cudos to both fighters. Someone is going seriously up and someone seriously down after this fight.

    I'll be watching

Like I said. You said something stupid. You were wrong. You clearly showed you don't even know what promoting is, especially in a boxing sense. Your awful hating has made you look like a complete mug. Be a man about it and move on.

Look at the thread title and read your previous posts. It should be very clear to you why Hearn is relevant to this. Your surprise suggests you may have some form of dementia affecting your already heavily compromised mental state. I suggest you mention it to your physician next time he takes your T cell count.

Hearn is correct in terms of the heavyweight division

whyte and parker are pretty much number 2 and 6 in the wbc,ibf and wbo rankings

Take Joshua and Wilder out of the equation.
Fury too since he's nowhere near ready.
Ortiz/Miller/Povetkin never fought in the UK against decent opposition.....

    Who's left?

Parker is on PPV in NZ, and Whyte is the current 2nd best heavy in the UK and has a 'profile' because of his terrific tear up with Chisora, and his last 2 wins.

Seems pretty spot on to me, but i guess it's just another thread trying to bash Hearn.
