So I read Odd's Fighting Blacksmith Webb's Prizefighter (my favorite so far) and now going back over Lanky Bob which is the most technical and detailed of the 3 but a bit dry for me.
Anyway I've got a really huge boxing bio/autobio collection and I gotta say this is the most amazing fighter I've ever read about. Just ####### amazing. Any of you guys that are readers and dont have any books about him in your collection do yourself a favor and grab one. I hope to grab Pollocks next.
This man is an incredible fighting machine as we all know I just felt compelled to say it.

I have to reposition him in my P4P and MW ranking. I'm mainly referring to him as a MW because of his natural weight. What he accomplished in higher weight classes is again mind blowing.
To top it all off he has the Royce Gracie effect in that if you saw him standing in the opposite corner your licking your chops thinking "I got this one no problem " LOL my ###

I won't try to answer that question as its to hard to answer for me, rather its how Bob would fight Greb that interests me. Loughran and Tunney both found success and wins over Greb by focusing on body attacks against him and I think Bob would try that also. The difference between Bob's footwork and Gene and Tommy's was huge though and I wonder if that wouldn't stint Bob's being able to catch him enough. A hugely intriguing bout.
