I culled all of the undefeated heavies not named Joshua, Fury or Wilder from Boxrec's top 150, added a few favorites who have not quite gotten there yet such as Jalolov, and added Usyk and Gassiev, who have both stated that they are going to heavy eventually.

Here is your chance to predict the future.

    A) Name your single most likely to win a championship.
    B) List your top five overall.
    C) Assign a grade or comment to any of the remaining that you think are noteworthy, sleepers, overrated...whatever.

    NOTE{ UPDATED on 9/25/19)

Andrey Afonin (not fought in over a year and a half)
    Hemi Ahio
    Efe Ajagba
    Robert Alfonso

Oleksandr Usyk will be HW Champ in two years. Hrgovic, Teslenko, Gassiev and Fury will be right there in the hunt and challenge but will be defeated by ‘Feels’

    1. Jarrel Miller beats everyone else on this list right now.
    2. Apart from Miller, Joe Joyce most likely to beat Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder (Usyk close second).
    3. Yoka, Joyce, Hrgovic, Dychko, Dubois most likely to be top contenders in the future (skills and physical attributes).
    4. Kuzmin, Kean, Kownacki, Fa, Gassiev to be the entertaining tough punchers of the future.
    5. Darmani Rock the young dark horse who could surprise everyone.

+ Willis Meehan is a chance of making waves in HW if he commits to boxing.

Has talent like his father, but there's a reason he had 3 different Rugby clubs letting him go without giving him a chance. The kid is a sook with an attitude problem who completely lacks discipline. Leapai, Haumono, and Dempsey McKean will take him to school, Meehan won't make it past Australian level.

Good thread. I think you mean "Gassiev" and not "Wilder", right?

None scream champion to me, but I guess I'll go with Dubois as most likely.

Top 5 currently is Miller Usyk Gassiev Kownacki Joyce, in no particular order.

Biggest sleeper is Dychko. If he ever learns how to control distance he could be an ATG. Amazing talent, reminds me of Fury, in his length, volume punching, movement and agility. Just can't control distance to save his life.

The most dangerous guy on the list with talent and the most effective style is ....

    Vlad Sirenko!

    Point blank period!

List what top 5 ? Current or that list?

    1. Vlad Sirenko will be the most dangerous threat to Joshua in the near future.

    2. Joe Joyce is still a prospect but he's got one foot in the door, he IS currently the best under 10 fight fighter.

    3. Is a TWO fighter deal..Dubois / Gorman

These guys will be in a similar clash to what Joshua and Whyte were, they probably see two fights, one before a title shot . I think Gorman gets there first.

    4. Hrgovic is a very calculating HW I see him sneaking in 2021 and landing some sort of title. I don't think he's a long term Champion someone dethrones him.a

    5. I'm going to take a shot here based on what could be an extremely dangerous fighter should be have everything come together...

Trey Morrison has sharp concusive punching power and under Roach looked the goods. He's now trained by Virgets , Tommys former trainer so??? It should help him bc that's the blue print!

At the end of the day each of these guys have to go through Joshua....

i don't see anyone defeating Joshua so that's a starter to prove me wrong there bc that's what needs to be done first!

This is going to be an insane era come 2021 when Joshua cleans the current top 10 guys out...the list you provided is a great group of talent and some will pose a far bigger threat then the ones now!

A sleeper ? Look out for George Arias a Frazier type hybrid with decent power! He is going to be a factor as well!

Gorman impressed the **** out of me with his win over Turner. That was damn good.

I'm pretty hyped for Dubois. He's got a long way to go, but he's still so young and inexperienced. I think it will be particularly informative to see how he handles Little next week. Little will be a small step up for him, so we should learn a lot.

In the past, I was pretty excited about Teslenko and Mladen Miljas, but they don't seem active enough. So I've lost interest.

I'm not that excited about Usyk. He's already pillowfisted and struggles a lot in a rather weak division.

For the new wave of Olympic heavies (Joyce, Hrgovic, Yoka, Dychko), they all seem to be doing fairly well except Dychko. I keep hearing bad things about Yoka, but he's impressing me so far. I guess I favor Hrgovic in the long term, but not by much.

I don't know what everyone sees in Sirenko. Maybe he'll be good, but his opposition has been way too terrible to judge anything.

Why do you rate Miller so highly? I just don't see anything special from him, and think the others you put on the list will force him out of the top ten at one point or another.

There's a hell of a lot of HW talent coming up

Oleksandr Usyk - Most likely to win a world title.

Usyk, Gassiev, Hrgovic ,Teslenko, Dychko - top 5 Overall

Joe Joyce, Gorman, Kuzmin, Kownacki could have easily been in that 5

    Plechko is the Excitement guy!

Sirenko could be something real good but he needs to step up the opposition asap, him and Simon Kean are two huge punchers.

    Schwarz could surprise people.

Yoka, Dubois and Wallin are frauds!

Sheehan, Ali and Chaney are ****ing bums lol

That was definitely his best win so far, but still not enough for me.

Miller absolutely sucks. He's currently the biggest hype job in the sport.
He has good power, (not huge) a decent output for a big guy, and a great chin. But that's it. He just plods forward and throws sloppy inside punches. He's one dimensional and horribly innacurate.
    - and his arm speed is only average, if that, though his JAB is fast.
    - and he can't even SPELL "defense."

I'm fine with (agree with) your other opinions, although Bakole needs to be in the top mix. He has some faults, but his atributes far outweigh them. The guy is SERIOUS.

And I expect Trey Lipp to at least make the top ten, in short order. Hard to say if he can go further than that, but right now he'd probably KO 90% of the guys in the OP's list.

& no one is talking at all about the best undefeated HW "prospect" in the sport today, which is Bogdan Dinu: Power, athleticism, ring IQ, defense. The guy has it all & doesn't make mistakes. Sadly, Dinu has been screwed around for years, and he's starting to get old. If he can get major fights soon, he's another lock for the top ten.
