"Gibbons would have beat that version of Fitz."

Your opinion doesn't matter to me.

"Why not just be straight forward with people?"

Your opinion doesn't matter to me.

"Your used to mama and papa spoon feeding you and telling you you're special."

They have been dead for over fifty years.

"You're opinion doesn't matter to me."

Your opinion of what matters to you doesn't matter to me.

    "Still wasn't prime for Johnson"

Your opinion doesn't matter to me.

    I agree.

But I don't see why this necessarily means Dempsey rates above Wills.

Fair enough on the first point,

but which opponent, including Sharkey and Willard, rates ahead of Tunney, Wills, or Greb on atg lists at heavyweight or p4p?

I think one can make a very strong case that Tunney, Wills, and Greb were his three best possible opponents.

Good to know I really rattled you with that "your opinion doesn't matter to me" bit. Lmao we both know you're obsessed with my opinion or else you would have ****ed off already like I've asked you to multiple times.

Exactly. Wills beats them and he's the rightful heir to the heavyweight title. Dempsey beats them even easier and he's an overrated professional ducker.

Gibbons is p4p better than Wills. Nice try though.

There is a separate thread on Fitzsimmons. Were his best wins pre Jeffries in 1899, or post Jeffries.

Most felt post 1899, but there is an argument wither way. This means Fitz was greatest wins happened when he was 36-40.

Fitz was actually beaten legit only by Jeffries for years before and after. He was blowing away the rest of the contenders so it is reasonable to consider that Fitz might have remained heavyweight champion for another few years. I don't know when Fitz peaked, but he was still a formidable fighter.

That's far fetched. The only time Gibbons was knocked out was against prime Gene Tunney when he was years old.

You just posted a bunch of gibberish. I'm certain you know what you meant but to be honest the only part that makes sense was "This means Fitz was greatest wins happened when he was 36-40." So you think his best wins were Ruhlin and Sharkey?
