Lomachenko has FIVE better wins than Crawford!

Perhaps the OP exaggerated, but Loma does have many better wins than Crawford does. Most of that is not Crawfords fault though. He ruled the weakest division in boxing. Maybe only 168 was weaker.

I don't give a **** what the thread is about. Loma indeed called Crawford his #1 P4P those are facts. I stated that I disagree with him because I have Loma #1 P4P the reason I do is because he has a better resume than Crawford. I'm a fan of Loma but some of his fans need to be checked and put in line and I'm the one to do it. If you don't like it then to bad do something about it.

Loma has a better resume i agree but what relevance does this hold considering neither fighter had had a big career defining fight yet? A Crawford win over Spence ( Which is no given but the point stands) would trump everything, loma only has one big fight to be made and that's mikey garcia, there are zero fights of that magnitude left unless he moves up. Crawford has much more big career defining fights to make at 147, He could lose to spence, beat thurman,garcia,porter,khan etc and and still end up with a better resume than lomachenko even if he beats mikey garcia as there are no other big names for loma to fight.

I like both fighters, and i also have loma above crawford at this point but both are still early in there careers, the next 12-18 months is where we will see the best of both of them. You have to take a lot more into consideration than resume when comparing great fighters, If you KSAB you can see the genius and artistry in both of these great fighters.

This is true. Crawford has better chances to become the greater fighter than Loma does based on the guys at 147 or 154 than Loma does at 135 or even at 140. That will play a factor down the road. If Crawford fights and beats Spence I would put him over Loma in the P4P rankings.

 

I picked Salido to beat Loma and he did. I picked Russell Jr to beat Loma and he lost. I picked Loma to beat everyone he faced since he fought Russell Jr. I became a fan of Loma when he beat Russell Jr and you could then see he was the truth. Who are you a fan of? You got into to boxing for the wrong reason anyway and have an agenda period end of discussion. It's one of the many reasons why you keep getting banned and coming back.

Acknowledging Loma has the better resume just isn't enough . You have to rubbish Crawford's resume while you're at it to prove you're a real fan.

No reason why you can't root for both of them since they are not even rivals in the same division and will likely never fight each other.
Truth be told , some of these guys encourage hate on Loma so they can have their petty little race war.

 

I think you are selling Loma's resume short. Look at the records of every fighter he has faced. He beat Gary Russell. He beat Walters. He beat Rigo. Only in hindsight will some question how good some of those fighters are/were. People do this all the time. A fight is built up as a superfight. Then when it is over the loser is deemed overrated or over-the-hill. Russell, Walters and Rigo are all top fighters. Other than Salido, no fighter had more than 3 losses going into the fight. I would argue he is defining his career with each impressive win. Stopping Linares, a bigger, longer champion was impressive.
