Remember that name. Young fighter for GBP, 19 years old with a 6-0-3 record. Young man has the poise and presence of a vet. Looks like a young Mayweather.( No shoulder roll ) Just his technique and the way he delivers. Junior lightweight. Oscar needs to get his head outta Canelos ass and start moving these young talents forward.

Roach Jr decisioned Maliek Montgomery in the amatuers in 2013. Montgomery was involved in a hit-and-run accident while jogging in August 2014...!!! Montgomery suffered a broken jaw among other injuries...!!!

Roach Jr. donated his last 3 fight purses in 2014 to Montgomery's family to help pay for the bills...!!!


I worked with Montgomery during some of his amatuer days in Tennessee and here in Georgia, and I had the pleasure of meeting Roach Jr. Very humble man, very polite, will do anything for anyone. Loves to pay back his fans by signing autographs, posing for pictures, giving away t-shirts, etc.

GBP needs to push guys like Roach Jr. into the forefront, he can increase fan support just by being the great humble guy he is...!!!

That's exactly the way Paulie Ayala was right from the start. Always had time for the fans. Visited sick children in hospital & visited schools to talk to kids about drugs. Paulie one of boxings real nice guys
