10 -9 Postol 9-10 10 - 10 10 - 9 10 - 10 9 - 10 10 - 10 10 - 10 9 - 10 8 - 10 10 - 10 9 - 10 114 - 118 to Taylor. There was so many close rounds in there that were 10-10s. Judges seem reluctant to give them and have probably edged towards the home fighter with the crowd noise etc.
Brilliant fight for any platform, Never mind channel 5. I hope the viewing figures are impressive. I thought pre fight the bookies were way out with the difference between postol and Taylor. Postol is fundamentally sound and proved that with some excellent 1,2's and work to the body. I actually think he had Taylor in serious trouble mid way through the 2nd. Huge credit to Taylor though, his conditioning and stamina are second to none and he carries genuine world level power at the weight. He's probably learnt more during those 12 rounds then most fighters learn in their first 12.
Great fight marred by the judging. Fair play to mcguigan for making the point of it being closer than the judges had it. Would a rematch been the worst thing in the world for Taylor. Close fight. Taylor deserved the win tho.
Great fight. What a learning curve for Taylor, he said so himself he will learnt a lot from the fight. Judges are disgraceful. I probably had it even after 10 rounds, then 11 knockdown +12 to Taylor . 115-112.

Great fight. Postol was very tough. Scorecards tainted the fight for me a bit and it's a shame as it's the talking fight now instead of Taylor winning the hardest fight of his career. Personally I had it to Taylor by 3 rounds.

115-112 Taylor. Excellent match making and Postol looked very good too. Disappointed with the horrendous cards, looks like the SNP had already wrote them out. Taylor certainly isn't the finished article but he's just beaten a fighter in his 13th fight that is one of Crawfords top 3 victories. Well done.
Couldnt argue with that viewpoint. I had him by only 1. 1st half of fight was easy to score, anyone who had Taylor up at the half way point is at it.
You could see taylor was technically struggling the first 5 rounds and knew he couldnt outbox him which prob hasnt happened since he turned pro. He willed himself to victory by pure determination. Pistol was also veey good though fast hands
