Its not just his weight though its his whole behaviour and level of opponents that people dont like.

I think he will find it hard to make a big drop for the next fight. I have been overweight before (still am!) and when I’m dieting/training I can lose a fair bit within the first few weeks of training but then you hit a brick wall. You get to the stubborn fats which just won’t budge. He’s done remarkably well to lose 8 stone or however much it was but I can imagine it now to be really difficult to keep shifting.

It was an impressive weight loss from
Fury but when your that much overweight the first few stone will drop off just by eating less and exercising more. I’d like to think he’d be 3-4kg lighter for his next fight.

I think you got to be realistic as there is only 9 weeks or so from first fight to next so I'd say if he could come in anywhere like 19 dead on its 10 pound lost and heading into right direction and by December's fight should be 18 5 or something

Fury only back for a couple of easy PPV muggings against Bellew then he is off in his caravan with all the loot extracted from the PPV mugs.

Bellew loves Fury and Toe despite the scripted rivalry

Weight has absolutely nothing to do with it. It's his condition and timing that needs sorting. He could weigh exactly the same fat as nicely muscled and trim depending on his s&c

If he's really serious, I'll expect him to have dropped another 10lbs for his next poorly prepared part time shithouse opponent.

He has actually lost quite a bit of muscle, I'd say 10-15 lbs.

He is carrying more than a stone in fat i reckon . I think he will strip off fat and he will look far lighter /trimmer than he ever has but come in at around 270 lbs if and when he declares himself in " the best shape ever" and better than his "prime"

Think anything above 6 lbs is progress. Very good progress at that. Fury going about the comeback the right way for me. Taking mug fights regularlies the way to go with any comeback after a lengthy layoff. Needs to make sure he doesn't go too deep too soon. Can't be a sefari again tho. But needs four guys that are slightly better than the last guy building to someone like charr. You get that win keep the weight coming down then your rolling. From there 2 or 3 to Joshua/wilder...if you,ve any chance of beating them.

The skills there. The weight/fitness/sharpness needs to be improved massively tho. That can only come with time and getting rid of ring rust. He's basically back below McDonnell stage atm in his first career...if you,d call it that.

If he’s training seriously then i’d expect him to shave off another 12-14ib by his next fight. I’m more concerned about his timing & movement than the actual weight loss. He needs some brutal sparring.

Agree completely with Twentyman above, he needs to shift a stone at least but more than that he needs some really tough sparring.
Obviously the stories of him doing well with Dubois and others were probably the same kind of rounds he did in the fight, I.e.clowning about at quarter pace.

The problem is, if warren is paying him big money he won't want too many mismatches before the big money fights.
