You could probably pay him with "THIS MANY" cheeseburgers (stretches arms wide) and he'd go for it.

Jarrell "BIG Baby" Miller, the ghetto's answer to Dustin Nichols.

Is there a record of dodgy practices in Bulgarian boxing or is this just about the 75/25 split making it not worth the risk?

I don't think there IS a record of top fights in Bulgaria. So they probably assume the worst and the 25% is the finisher. Whyte and Miller have other options. Hughie really doesn't, so if he's next in line e, hopefully that fight will happen.

No offense to Bulgaria, but it is nuts to go to Bulgaria.

Honestly is anyone really shocked at this, said this would happen after Whyte pulled out, nobody is going to Bulgaria to get stiffed and paid peanuts.

Do you think Hughie will? He doesn't have the options that the other two do.

Yes, if only to stop this endless purse bid saga. Although it would be funny if Hennessy outbid epic...

The worst robberies in boxing happened in UK and US. What`s wrong with Bulgaria? Boxing today is just b.tches and holes.

So now you're claiming Matchroom has more influence than a US boxer?

    How the mighty have fallen.....

Whats stopping Pulev from negotiating better deals and fighting outside of Bulgaria. Surely he knows that no top ranked contender is willing to fight in Bulgaria for a measly 25% split of a million pound purse.

Low payout, zero exposure, viewed only in Bulgarian yurt-O-vision. What’s not to like?

He fought on two Matchroom cards....He was being managed by that guy Khan knocked out in 0.003 seconds.....

    The point remains though.

How can the second best HW in the US be controlled by a stupid Brit?

Not sure if he'll take it, while his options are limited he's still very young and so has time to build up to another title shot. Plus his last fight despite being against a total scrub did crazy numbers on Channel 5, so his profile has clearly grown through the Parker fight and likely his cousins own growing popularity.

If it goes to purse bids then I suspect Hughie won't take it, 35% of whatever they bid likely won't be a big enough inducement for them to risk fighting in a backwater country like Bulgaria. If Pulev wants a big fight in his home country he will need to pay for that privilege. Leveraging a fighter into such a fight using the IBF's rules to his benefit has failed 3 times now and I can't see it working this time either.

But maybe they could agree terms where either it's in the UK or Pulev pays Fury handsomely for fighting in Bulgaria, but I doubt it.
