Or wants a reaction from Pavlik to hype the fight.

Cmon Kelly, tell him to get it on!

Why would he he be, A fight with RJJ brings more of the most important stuff to boxer, MONEY, RRJ is a star and a huge name, A fight with JC and RJJ would do 500 000 PPV and Joe would get a 8 number pay day,It not about being scared or afraid, it about basic maths, MONEY.

A Roy fight is more than Money to Joe IMO.
This is an open wound that needs to be stitched in the history of the SMW division.
There is an unspoken rivalry between the two.

I'll order this, Pavlik will just have to wait his turn.
Unless his fan's think he will get knocked off before? (Reason for the rush)
Cal will be there in 09, or do you want Pavlik to get Joe before Jones Jr.?
(would you still want the fight if Joe goes down Vs. Jones Jr.?)

So what? Why do you care? You won't see a dime of that money. I would rather see the better fight, because I am a boxing fan, not an accoutant

not sure about scared, but i definitely think he knows he would pose the biggest challenge he has ever faced. i dont think he's ready yet to face pavlik, he wants a few more bernard hopkins/roy jones type fights in order to get a little more cash in his pockets without risking **** and after that he's either too old and over it or he gets ko'd.. really would love to see it happen but hearing joe talk about it i dont really think anything will come of it at least for a while...

THis how boxing works my friend, when you a **** load of Belts like WBC, WBA and rest of these silly things, it all about MONEY, It has got nothing to do with ME I don't care at all, It is just how the sport works, THis sport is very dangerous and you can get killed, so getting payed the most MONEY is number 1 thing for most fighters.

Iagree, but you are a hardcore boxing fan and we are never pleased because we know the ins and outs of the sport, I agree Pavlik v JC would a much more interesting fight than RJJ

Calzaghe is not afraid of Pavlik. Roid Jones is the big money fight. Calzaghe wants to retire soon so he wants to make the most money.

Ever since his fight with Hopkins which wasn't as easy as he and some of his fans thought, Calzaghe is not the same.

That's true and maybe has affected Calzaghe's confidence.

Agreed, how would Calzaghe look against Locket or a SMW equivalent, now?

He beats him up and is declared god again; echos of his whole 15 year tomato can knocking career (baring when he made an out of charterer effort to fight Kessler and hype job Lacy).

Joe is back to choosing cans again after just a couple of challenging fights, it sucks.
