It would be a good test for Gvozdyk. If he wins (which is not guaranteed, because even this version of Stevenson is still very dangerous) he will become a solid champion on the LH map.

And Gvozdyk will probably have the best resume at light heavyweight.

Gvozdyk and Bivol are both the cream at 175 imo.

Gvozdyk punishes Stevenson and stops him mid rounds.

I'm not sure about that. I would say the best resume will still be Kovalev's. If Krusher beats Alvarez.

But, on the other hand, Stevenson is a lineal light heavyweight champion. :buenrollo:

I'm surprised that Stevenson isn't going to avoid Gvozdyk!

I hope the officiating in Canada is fair to the Ukrainian.

Back to back credible opponents for ****** Stevenson would be a huge step up for him.

I think the ref plays a bigger role than the officials, though. This one should end in the distance.

Gvozdyk needs to watch for the right hook, but he's damn good at taking away straight lefts, Oleksandr plays it safe for 5 or 6 rounds, then brutally takes this piece of **** scumbag mother****er out in 7-8 and ends his career.

If Gvozdyk wins this he'll have already surpassed Crawfords resume :deal:

    Well, . . .

    Gvozdyk-
    Chilemba
    Gonzalez

    Bivol-
    Barrera

    beterbiev-
    Cloud

    Kov-
    Pascal 2x
    Ward I
    Chilemba
    Hopkins

I would say that if The Nail beats Adonis he would have the 2nd best resume at 175.

Kovalev still holds that distinction. Or at least it will be a solid argument.
What i can't wait for is for HBO to finally man up and give us Kovalev vs Bivol.
