Have we ever seen anything like Vasyl Lomachenko?

Me personally no. I haven't seen an identical fighter/style. I've seen unique unorthodox styles sure but his footwork & angles & the way he paws away like hes trying to figure out where his next brush stroke will go next is beautiful to watch.. The boxing Picasso! I've never seen someone skate around the ring like Loma personally.. I'm not a big old timer watcher so maybe there has been i dunno. One could argue that in Linares he made his 5th opponent quit... Could he have gone on? Maybe but his body language was dejected & broken. Beating JL & Rigo back to back was beautiful.. Two of the best natural talents in boxing over the last few years, he broke them! One was an offensive master the other a defensive whizz & they both ended up demoralized.. In fact one was beat with a crooked hand/shoulder whatever lol & the other so badly humiliated he blamed it on his hand! Hes not the greatest ever that is absurd to suggest right now but hes damn unique & we are lucky to have him on our screens right now.

    Salido.

This. He has one decent win, which is Linares, but he's still not a big deal until he beats an elite fighter like Mikey and cleans out a few divisions.

This thread is about styles. Not about records and resumes. Quit the strawman logic!

The best I heard it summed up was from the disinformation agent Joe Rogan where he said Mayweather had the perfect hands but Lomo has both feet and hands going on in perfect harmony

Loma also reminds me a little of Carlos Ortiz.

Im a huge Lomachenko fan. He's my personal P4P #1 champion. Easily.

But I'm also a long time boxing fan and at his age there have been fighters who have accomplished as much if not a lot more.

I love his fight style and I don't think anyone can outbox a prime Loma, but I know that he can be pressured and out scored.

I really wanted to see him against Miguel Berchelt but he busted a Pacquiao and jumped ship before facing him.

At Loma's age, what he's accomplished, I give him full but its nothing that hasn't been done before. Unfortunately he got on the pro scene later in his life and has a short anount of time to match the ATGs, and another thing is that I feel 135 is his cap.. He may possibly make some noise at 140 carefully matched, but as far as prime 135 may be his limit.

OK, longtime boxing fan: Name a fighter he resembles, stylistically, as the OP clearly states.

Lmfao.. giving Loma credit for beating an inactive 38 year old moving up 2 ****ing weight classes while being small at his original weight class already. Linares win was good, but best natural boxing talent? He was getting COMPLETELY outclassed by Campbell in the second half and Mitchell was outboxing him before Linares stopped him. Linares literally has 0 big name wins. 0.

Well, the only big name guy around LW was Garcia, and Garcia chose other fights instead.
Linares beat the best guys available to him.
