Ryan Burnett out of WBSS..?

    It appears Ryan Burnett may not be in the super series no more. I might be reading into this a bit much but I'm not so sure.

    When the WBSS post an article where there normally just updating fans on recent news, they have a list at the end of the article where it lists the current fighters signed for season 2, Ryan Burnett is no longer listed.

    Also Eddie Hearn did an Instagram live stream a couple of days ago where he said he was 'working' on Ryan Burnett's next fight.

    Be a huge shame if Ryan is not in the WBSS.

    I predicted Hearn would pull him out when he wasn’t at the press conference.

    It’s probably just as well really - he always looks like he’s been run over by a bus when he fights. I can’t imagine the state of him if he was to go in with Tete, Inoue (is he still signing up?) or Rodriguez

    he's never been confirmed for the tournament, the only thing that ever came out was kalle Sauerland saying "he's agreed in principle" and that was just after the McDonnell fight and we've heard nothing since. there were rumours he was going to move up again (although i think that rumour was lost in translation as he's fighting a featherweight (Genesis Servania) in an exhibition match)

    I hope he goes in the tournament. Even if he got beat he would learn a lot. There isn't loads of money at the weight so get paid well and have a go.

    I see him quite a bit spoken to him several times lovely lad lives locally to me. Next time I see him I'll ask doubt he'll be totally honest but worth a go...
