so what, its not like charlo is some beast everyone is avoiding, there are legitimate names that would draw more. let him fight one of these other legitimate names and then the position may change.

 

Charlo turned down 50$ mil offer to fight triple G in Kazakhstan!

After the fight you would be the first who would call Charlo "another bum from 154 on GGG record"

There are much bigger fights than Charlo in the line for GGG.

 

Charlo has become what GGG was at one point in his career.. High risk Low reward.. I just don’t like how guys try to push a narrative both from both sides.. Charlo hasn’t beaten a top MW but when Cotto became champ in June 2014 GGG hasn’t beaten a top MW yet his best son was Macklin.. GGG wasn’t a “big name” but yet fans still said he Cotto was ducking so the WBC made Charlo his mandatory and said he will be stripped if he’s not next.. So only to be fair you have to say GGG is ducking if he don’t take that fight.. Can’t complain about Sergio and Cotto ducking for money fights then do the same thing when it’s you’re in their position..

 

No Charlo but Golovkin doesn't want Derevyanchenko, he said no to Saunders, he doesn't acknowledge Jacobs, and Andrade isn't a bigger name than Charlo....

He doesn't want to share the ring with Derevyancheno, Saunders and Jacobs right now. It can change in a few months. The payday vs Clenelo has a higher priority at the moment.

If he beats Clenelo i think Saunders, Derevyanchenko or Jacobs is next.

Saunders actually is toying around and not looking like he has serious intentions to fight. I mean the Murray fiasco was a shame for a guy who is holding a world title.

I agree, Derevyanchenko deserves the shot but i can understand that GGG wants to fight Clenelo 2 first because Derevyanchenko is a high risk fight without a big outcome for him.

And, I'd like to add, Derevyanchenko probably would have had his crack at GGG if only Clenelo hadn't popped dirty for PEDs. Pedvarez has already wasted 2 potential GGG fight dates, 3 if you count the last-minute Vanes fight.

 

I have to add GGG isn't ducking anyone. He reached a point in his career due to being in his mid 30s where he has to be smart to make as much money as possible and Clenelo 2 is probably the biggest fight for him right now followed by Saunders and Jacobs. Then Derevyanchenko. Then Jermall, Andrade and probably Murata. So it's a logical choice imo. You can not blame a guy who is 36 years old and holding three world titles for doing that.

 

What did Wade ever do?!

 

Wade was mandatory. I very much doubt they would have fought him otherwise. He's the definition of "low risk, low reward".
