This is why it's hard to take Warren seriously. How can you announce 24 earlier that an opponent will be announced the next day and then fail to keep to that date. Its amateur hour over there
Some ppl are saying it's Gary Cornish. If true, that's somebody slightly better than I was expecting.
Cheers for the confirmation : ) No better time for Gary to fight him. Fury looked fckin terrible in that last fight. Slow fat and immobile. I hope big Cornish goes in and just lets his hands go from the 1st bell. The element of surprise Lol. Good luck to Cornish, would love it if he won.
This content is protected Warren is the gift that keeps on giving. Remember though his all about the fans
He said yesterday it's taking a little longer to get finished than anticipated, which is no big deal really. If I'm being optimistic, perhaps difficulty in signing means it's someone of reasonable note? Doubt it, mind.
It wouldn't be a big deal if he never mentioned anything on Sunday. On Sunday Warren says the opponent will be announced on Monday. On Monday evening he says the deal is taking longer than expected? Why say on Sunday it will be announced 24 hours later if the deal wasn't finalized? It's not the first time Warren says a date for something to be announced and then missed that date.
This might be a very wild assumption on my part but I reckon Warren thought it would be ready on Monday...but it isn't. That's it. It's unprofessional but I don't see why it's such a big drama. Promoters miss deadlines constantly. Warren seems to be a little worse at it, mind.
