    Round 1 Prograis 10-9
    Round 2 Prograis 10-9
    Round 3 Prograis 10-9
    Round 4 Prograis 10-9
    Round 5 Prograis 10-8
    Round 6 Prograis 10-9
    Round 7 Prograis 10-8
Round 8 Prgrais wins by TKO

Prograis drops him with another nasty body shot, his mouthpiece came out, Regis back on him, he goes down again, it was a slip, Regis goes back to work ripping the body, the corner waves it off mercifully.

Velasco has a really dumb corner.
    He should fire them.

Great heart from Valesco after trying to quit and not being allowed to. lol. He went and stood toe to toe, out on his shield.

I can assume one of two things from watching this fight:
    1. Prograis was carrying his opponent a bit to give other guys more confidence or

    2. Prograis just isn't a mean guy. He seemed like he didn't want to hurt his opponent. I think he may be a puncher with a boxer's mentality.

Yes and no. The corner he has knew that he was mentally damaged more than physically. They were just checking his heart but he was really hurt and he should have let the ref know.

The corner should have stopped it, but I think the corner knows that body punches aren't going to end their fighter's career.

Decent performance by Rougarou against a competent and game opponent but he needs to work on his defence otherwise he might come unstuck when he faces a legit banger. He won easily enough but he got hit a bit too much in first few rounds for my liking. Good for him to get some rounds under his belt going into the WBSS tournament, though.

Progais could have ended that earlier if he kept going to the body. Juan should sack his coach, he said he wanted out and his coach pretty much pushed him back in there and ignored his plea. With a guy who hits like Prograis can you imagine the chaos etc had he got hit in that last round and ended up in a coma and/or brain damaged or worse. If a fighter says enough then a coach should listen.

Camera angles have been really tight on this fight all night.

Having watched a lot of boxing for 40 years, I can assume that...

    THE ARENA IS HALF-EMPTY!

I think Prograis is the second best 140er after Josh Taylor.

Taylor is without doubt the most skilled at 140. He's got a lot of dog in him as well. Prograis might just get his ass handed to him when he fights Taylor.
