Kalambay easily, Benn was awful middleweight, check how much better Benn did in his rematch vs Eubank, he got hit a lot less and paced himself better, the only way Benn could beat a slick boxer like Sumbu was by a lucky come from behind KO, because his power was devastating at middle, but take a look at what Watson and Eubank did to Benn just by using basic fundamentals, Benn even struggled with Sanderline Williams at middle and he was nowhere near Kalambay`s level. Sumbu had a win over McCallum at middle and look what Mike did to Watson, Benn`s out of his depth here and would stand a better chance at SMW but while he was more careful at SMW he struggled to get the same KO percentage at the higher weight and Benn`s only chance of beating Sumbu would be to knock him out, Benn was only any good when you stood right in front of him, Herol Graham would have boxed rings around him and Sumbu beat Graham, I see this being like Jackson vs Graham minus the come from behind one punch KO, because Benn couldn`t time his opponent the way Jackson could, very overrated at middle, Eubank proved that.

Kalambay was stopped only once during his career by the best punch of Michael Nunn's career, boxing wise he is better than Benn in every aspect, Watson vs Benn all over again but Sumbu might have an easier time getting the job done.

Kalambay takes Benn apart. It's criminal how underrated Kalambay is.

Benn has a puncher's chance obviously but 8 times out of 10 Kalambay takes him to school and possibly stops him late.

First off ,,I love Benn.Followed his career all the way ,cheered him on and hated him to lose .But don't see him beating Kalambay at his best. He's to crafty for Nigel and I see him building up the points all the way through. Benn s got a chance ,same as Nunn, but I reckon he'd respect Nigel to much to allow himself to be caught out so fast .

I had Kalambay stopping him (late, I figure) but I have to say the story might well be a bit different at 168. Benn was a rare fighter indeed in that he truly applied lessons learned in the Watson fight later on, and was a much better overall fighter because of what happened to him that day in 1989. A defeat such as he absorbed at Watson's hands has destroyed the psyche of many up-and-comers, but Benn proved he was made of better stuff. I admire him for that.

Benn has the slimmest of punchers chances and as already stated, Kalambay is criminally underrated. Prime GGG would have his work cut out and the likes of Clenelo, Jacobs and BJS wouldn't have a prayer. Benn is one of my favourite UK fighters, period but, he'd be likely toyed with and countered to a late stoppage.

    Kalambay would shut out Clenelo.

Kalamby all wrong for Benn, and would literally school him. A big unanimous dec, or a late rd stoppage by the ref, for Kalamby. BUT, I also thought McClellan would destroy Benn. So Benn does have a punchers chance. But it would be unlikely.

Kalambay was one of the most underrated fighters in history .Unless Benn lands a big shot he gets taken apart .I would pick very few middle weights in history against Sumbu !Benn dangerous as he was isn't one of them
