because Pac is not a full-fledged welterweight and cant compete with the big boys at 147lbs, so he has gotten mostly fixed fights at 147lbs. Danny Garcia and Victor Postol are legitimate welterweights, but Pac is small for 147. Pac is more like 140lbs.

Bradley and Vargas were probably drugged before their fights :zlumi:, which I also believe Matthysse may have been drugged:stirrpot before the fight to make him weak.

Remember, Foreman was drugged before fighting Ali. :beer-toast1:

Well, the fight being held in Malaysia, Pac was not tested for PEDs.

    VADA doesn't exist in Malaysia.:pesas::ambulance:

So pacquiao was juiced and he drugged every legitimate opponent at 147? Unless you can post some evidence youre talking out of your ass.

Nobody needs drugs to beat a c level 35 year old mathyse. Did you lose a bet and now you're salty? Are YOU on drugs?

Technically VADA doesn't have to exist in Malaysia to test in Malaysia numbnuts. They don't exist in Russia either and that doesn't stop them. Btw, if it wasn't made clear, you are clueless about anti-doping.

He got a WBA title shot against a guy who makes a taxi driver look like Sugar Ray, then he got a big money fight against Manny where he did his duty and lost

Do you have any idea what looking at the ref and spitting out your mouthpiece means when you’re taking a count? Have you watched boxing before?

Im not even a manny fan but you can see how shot matthyse was in his previous fight vs a relative no namer. Of course pacs going to run rings around him and make him look bad.

    Not a fix

lol Lucas has been shot both mentally and physically for years. His spirit was broken by boxing politics and being robbed in numerous fights and stitched up by those corrupt swines. He's a very private and shy person, essentially a recluse, who doesn't feel comfortable or at ease under the glare of the media spotlight and in the bright lights and the big city and it all took its toll on him mentally. I basically predicted at the time that the loser of Lucas vs Ruslan would be finished after the fight and that even the winner might be too and once again Serge was proven right.

I'm not exactly sure what was going on behind the scenes, but Matthysse's body language and antics was odd. I was impressed with Matthysse's performance vs Emmanuel Taylor, I remember being pleasantly surprised that night by how good Matthysse looked after being worried going into that fight that he may be done. Vs Kiram he didn't impress as much as he did vs Taylor, but I still thought he was OK.

I don't want to take anything away from Pacquiao because I thought Pacquiao looked really impressive, this may have been the best version of Pacquiao is a long long time, maybe since 2010 or something. So I don't want to take anything away from Pacquiao's performance, and I can't really put my finger on what was up with Matthysse.

It didn't seem like Matthysse was really trying to win the fight, however, at times, he did throw punches with conviction. Now I'd normally just chalk that up to being overwhelmed by a very surprisingly effective version of Pacquaio, but what really raised alarm bells for me (besides the taking of the knee at the end of a round where he was actually having success) was his post-fight interview. In the post-fight interview, through the translator, he was quoted several times saying something to the effect that it was "his turn to lose".

Now at first I thought well he's just saying "you win some you lose some" kind of thing, but he was repeatedly quoted as saying how this fight it was "his turn" to lose. That kind of a quote in a post-fight interview raises alarm bells. I mean I don't know what to make of that statement and how it was repeated. I can't recall a fighter ever saying that it was his "turn" to lose after losing a fight like Matthysse said though the translator. That was just weird, that on top of his performance, something didn't seem right.

So I don't know what was going on, but it was definitely a strange experience to see all that Matthysse. But regardless, you can't ignore Pacquiao's performance and how effective he truly was, which obviously had something to do with it.

Watching live it looked as if he was going to quit on his stall. Matthyse couldn't land anything let alone anything meaningful. He never really recovered from the first knockdown. Good win for Pac. Wish he'd retire but will tune in for the next episode.

I think Matthysse was given some kind of sedative to drink before the fight as part of the bribe deal.
Matthysse was weakened before the fight.

Yeah, both were paid extra, to throw fake punches and miss on purpose.

Look at the replay and watch their gloves as they both missed on purpose many times throughout the fight.
That hilarious scorecard was done on purpose as a distraction, to keep the public from knowing that GG and Canelo faked their performance.
