    A compilation of the most absurdly stupid statements that he seems to make on a rather frequent basis:

    Here are some of mine:

    "Jeff Lacy was going to be Mike Tyson and Roy JOnes all rolled into one"

    "Jermain Taylor was the greatest thing ever until Pavlik beat him. The americans could not get enough of him"

    Not a stupid statement but he does seem to say "let's get it right" quite a lot.

    The second comment isn't far off the mark. The American networks knew their heavies wern't up to much so they latched onto the personable, athletic Taylor as the 'next big thing'.

    "Ruslan Chagaev is one of the most technically gifted heavyweight champions of all time" still sets the gold standard for Buncespeak.

    Though one that still makes me chuckle is "Joan Guzman's knocked out almost more people than anyone ever".

    It was like his brain noticed at the last minute what his mouth was up to and just managed to get that 'almost' in there...

    classic. I like buncey though despite all the **** talk. he is good for the sport. he generates interest in fights

    there are many times when I really agree with his commentary. but the times when the promotors seem to take control of his body, over shadow the good commentary he does

    Why do people feel the need to add comments like that almost as a disclaimer? I'm sure he's not so sensitive as to take all this **** seriously.

    i did not write the latter post as adisclaimer. i could not give a **** if i hurt his feelings or what. all i was saying is he talks some sense and a great deal of **** is well

    I like bunce.regardless of what you lot say the guy has passion for boxing and that shows when he is on the tv.

    There was actually , just before he started posting here .
    The thing is the positive comments for Bunce are fairly knew(really since he got the role with Setanta) so it seems as if it's only happened since he came here .
