The much anticipated rematch between takanori Gomi and Nick Diaz is finally starting to take shape, as Cesar Gracie has stated he is working on it. When asked about Gomi/Diaz rematch, Gracie stated: I'm working on it and I think you guys might see the rematch in the future, hopefully by 2009; that's what we're working on. :happy
Gomi being with Sengoku means it could be difficult for the rematch to happen in the near future. As far as I know Elite XC don't have a relationship with Sengoku. I really hope the rematch happens.
Gomi`s going to beat the **** out of Diaz. Diaz is crazy. That kid doesnt know wether his going coming or being. Either way Gomi is far more talented and has the better standup but Diaz probably has the edge on the mat. One thing is it will be exciting while it lasts.
I wonder if Diaz would make weight for THIS fight he weighed in 9 lbs over for his upcoming fight seems like he didn't even try to make weight.
Well I guess that falls into what Scur talked about Diaz doesnt know where the hell he is going. One of my favorite fighters but he is fustrating.
How do people like this cat? He is the worst loser I have ever seen, is the least gracious fighter in MMA today (win or lose) and has about the worst attitude out of anybody, a complete dick is the only way I can describe this kid.
Very true indeed. But the kids into casual drugs and he seems as though his a few sandwiches short of a picnic so its hardly surprising to me. WAR Gomi!!
I enjoy Nick he reminds me of myself when I was in high school and I find it very entertaining but I agree very unproffesional. I enjoy his fighting style and the fact that he fights EVERYONE dudes 24 and has Gomi,Sherk,Parysian,Fickett,Lawler,Jackson 3 times,Sanchez,Josh Neer,Riggs,Noons ETC.
