Usyk controlling the ring, good movement, making it hard for Gassiev to get established so far.

 

Usyk is excellent when he boxes, using his quick feet. Gassiev needs to hope Usyk will fall into a brawl coz that’s the only way he can win

 

I love Gassiev but he doesn't even look as though he belongs in the finals with Usyk here.

 

Usyk is in beast mode these early rounds, very sharp and focussed

 

R1 - 10-9 Usyk (clear) - All class from Usyk
R2 - 10-9 Usyk - It's a masterclass so far. Too much skill.
R3 - 10-9 Usyk - Gassiev ain't winning this on points, that's for sure.

 

I hope Gassiev wakes up soon. He looks a little lost to me.

This is going pretty much how I expected.

 

It's hard to score rounds against Usyk this way.

 

30-27 Usyk. Gassiev's being outboxed at the moment, can't find his range, Usyk has too much movement. Gassiev is getting closer though.

Uysk looking a lot sharper, he has done every round, still hasn't landed anything that meaningful though. Gassiev with more success to the body, and landed a glancing left hook to the head, not doing enough though and didn't land anything meaningful enough to win the round

29-28 Uysk

Usyk super busy but not that effective. He's up 3-0 here but Gas has better connect % and lands harder shots, just fewer.
