he is certainly the most overrated

I am sick and tired of his management excuses why they need to avoid Wilder

Klitchkos had at least brotherhood excuse

Joshua has nothing. fear is his only excuse

Am no AJ fan but anyone that posts AJ is scared or making excuses needs to get off their medication or whatever they are smoking. Look at his record?? Who has he ducked?? In 22 fights he would have fought, Whyte, Klit, parker, breazele and povetkin.

We just can't compare boxers now with those who boxed in times when a TV was a rarity.

Popular among the weightlifters, bodybuilders, posers, and football hooligans. But the devastating bronze bomber appeals to all demographics . There must be over a million members of the bomb squad, all over the world. Thank you Deontay, for making me believe in myself again. Your the true peoples champion. Lol.

No but he is very popular.

He's media friendly, a good story of a lowlife whos turned it around, and his resume after just 22 fights is fantastic.

    He deserves his popularity.

Most of the world has never heard of him. Connor McGregor is 100% more popular as a boxer and that's a proven fact.

biggest boxing fanbase is mexico but they have no heavies

boxing in the uk was huge in the 80s way bigger than it is now / but bruno and lewis did not have anything like AJ abitlity to put bums on seats.

never happened in my lifetime and while he remains undefeated it seems if joshua will sell out huge stadiums every fight

america if tyson were allowed would have had a rival / but america has the problem of taking all there big fights to the middle of a desert in the middle of nowhere instead of outdoor stadiums .

also PPV has killed boxing in americas fanbase to just 1 in 300 who follow boxing regulary.

usa was the home of boxing but the lack of white fighters/ superstars like hearns/leaonard/hagler/tysons meant that someone like wilder needs a usa rival more than a uk one.

joshuas tv numbers for his uk defenses in america are pathetic with no one watching at all 300 to 600k or what an afternoon knitting programme on channel 1/2/3/4/5 etc etc would get.

yes joshua is the biggest ticket seller in the history of uk boxing but usa the biggest most important market has no intrest in him / and seemingly if it is not mexican / not much intrest at all now mayweather has retired.

if wilder was going to break it / he would have done it by now.
