Is Mr.Andre Ward the only man with a chance to stop Usyk? Ward will probably return as a CW

It would be interesting to see what happens if Ward stays in the pocket and fights inside, all the shenanigans, grabs and holds, fighting out of clinches, tagging the body, placing the head above the shoulders and so on. It completely exposed Kessler and others incapable of handling that distance and we simply dunno how effective Usyk would be there.

He obviously has that busy jab, phyisical advantages, good mobility and high output though, so it's hard to actually favor Ward, however he looks like someone who could handle the extra couple of pounds well, and according to reports he's already muscled up. So why not, let's have it if possible. Not like Usyk has this crazy KO punch advantage, and it'd be Ward's choice to go brave, so I have nothing against the match-up.

Ward lost against a far inferior and smaller boxer in Kovalev. This match up would be a one sided destruction.

No Usyk literally has cleaned out the division, beating the number 2 and 3 in Briedis and Gassiev.....something Kovalev hasn't done.

Again WHO has Kovalev beaten to warrant such hype?

    It's on you now kid.

Look, Herol, I like Ward as a fighter and respect him as a winner. He’s beaten plenty of good fighters convincingly. However, I believe Ward had plenty of attributes, both inside and outside the ring, that he/his team failed to capitalize on. They include:
    • Olympic Gold Medalist: Oscar and, to a lesser degree, David Reid used this achievement as a fast track to stardom and big paydays. Reid was well on his way before Tito extinguished his flame.
    • Undefeated since age 12: not many world class amateurs can make the same claim.
    • Articulate: confirmed by his ringside commentary.
    • Objectively good looking: my wife says he’s handsome. Plus I’m sure he’s never the ugliest man in a crowded room.
    • Family man: married his high school sweetheart...no domestic violence issues...no mistresses...no illegitimate kids...etc.
    • Biracial...this could be big in a sport whose fans are prone to supporting/rooting against fighters based on their skin color/nationality, etc.
Instead of working with a manager who could capitalize on these things, he wasted a few prime years tied up in futile lawsuits, essentially trying to “bite the hand that fed him.” At the end of the day, the only thing Ward’s courtroom battle proved is that he is truly S.O.G., Son of Goossen (RIP).

he did land some, what you mean is he wasnt able to hurt him. Canelo, you will recall, was shaking his head after getting hit, pretending it meant nothing.

That said, there were a few occasions when Canelo looked troubled and caught out, abnd moreover his whole game of moving away meant he was respecting GGG's power.

The one thing about Ward I noticed is he is very good at adapting to what needs to be done to neutralize opponents be it rough housing, billy goat charging, or more accepted methods.
But thee biggest thing in my opinion once he got you figured out you have no chance in defeating him. Ya Killer Kovalev won the first fight but from the second half on he had Kovalev figured out I knew he would defeat Kovalev the second time. Never uderestimate Ward. Ever.

That style would be difficult for Usyk, but Ward is just not big enough to be very effective as a cruiserweight.
